I am a freelance English/Portuguese translator and also a lawyer.
I have been working with translation since 1997 after I came back to Brazil from a 6 month foreign exchange student program in the USA.
Once I started working with translation I´ve taken some courses to improve my writing in both English and Portuguese. Once I got my law degree I´ve started working as a lawyer but have never stopped working as a freelancer translator.
Nowadays I am taking a post-graduation course in English Translation. I love reading and writing and that’s what has driven me to both of my professions lawyer and translator.
I´ve translated a lot of subjects, mostly academic articles and abstracts in the following fields: Law, Dentistry and business.
At the moment I am working on a translation of a book.
