Egyptian Motorcycle Enthusiast Sherif Loutfi Carries Friendship Message from Egypt across the Americas
Motorcyclist Sherif Loutfi has arrived to western Canada through the USA carrying an Egyptian flag for over 120 days on the road.
Loutfi’s adventure began from Argentina and he has since crossed 5 South American countries whilst heading to Alaska through Canada. This isn’t the first time for the motorcyclist as he’s driven from Zurich to Tokyo before. He’s the first Egyptian to carry his country’s flag for the longest distance on a bike.
Loutfi has faced several hurdles such as hurricanes and storms, all while driving through mountains and forests on his motorcycle, which he refers to as ‘the white lady’. He has been greeted and encouraged by everyone on his journey while carrying his message of peace from Egypt to the world.

Some of the best seaside locations are found in eastern Egypt and southern Sinai.
Sunshine hardly ever ceases on the Egyptian Red Sea, making diving or snorkeling a year-round activity there, even during winter. Hotels in Sharm el Sheikh or Hurghada provide exquisite indulgence and plenty of activities.
El Gouna is also filled to the brim with luxury hotels and breathtaking mountains. The fishing village Dahab is unmatched in its friendliness and clear waters. Lastly, no trip is complete without visiting Marsa Alam, a wonderful spot to unwind.
The Best Sights in the Red Sea

Tourism Development Authority Prepares for IFTM Top Resa in September
The TDA of the Ministry of Tourism is preparing for its participation in IFTM Top Resa, which is a B2B tourism exhibition in France from the 20th to the 23rd of September.
The French market is one of the most important European ones for Egypt according to the head of the Egyptian Tourism Authority, Sami Mahmoud, which also remarked that the Ministry of Tourism will launch several tourist programs in the coming period.
The ministry has allocated a space of 84 square meters for Egyptian companies to use during the exhibition, with the cost of participation for companies or hotels being €1,150.
New Red Sea Ferry to Promote Tourism in Egypt
The new La Pespes 300-passenger air-conditioned ferry was inaugurated in a ceremonial voyage last Monday.
The Egyptian Minister of Tourism and the Red Sea governor were on board the ferry’s first voyage, along with over 200 people. According to iol.co.za, the ferry connects the resort cities of Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh in about two hours (96km).
La Pespes is provided with several means to ensure passenger safety; life jackets, rafts, and buoys are examples of such. A safety instructions video is played on the ferry’s monitors are the start of the voyage.

First Plane Arrives from Warsaw in Sharm El Sheikh after Lifting Travel Ban
Poland lifted a travel ban that was imposed on Sharm El Sheikh last year, and 183 passengers have landed for the first time, Wednesday morning.
The passengers were greeted with a celebration, and the airport’s head, Emad El Belasi, remarked on the ban lift being a vital step to revive Egypt’s hospitality.
Polish groups are one of the larger tourist groups in Egypt, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
Pyramids Site to be Revamped by September
The Ministry of Antiquities has been making big improvements to all tourism facilities at the Giza Pyramids site.
The preparations are planned to be completed by the end of September. According to Al-Masry Al-Youm, The Minister of Antiquities Khaled Al Anany mentioned that developments began in 2009, costing a grand total of LE350 million, of which LE51 million has been supplied by the Ministry of Tourism.
High security gates have been installed, control rooms, an information center, and parking facilities. Rubbish bins have been installed throughout the site, as well as several safety signs. The ruins have also been cleaned and dusted.
Amr Diab at Cairo University
The Egyptian artist Amr Diab will be performing in concert at Cairo University on the 31st of August.

The Egyptian Tourism Authority has announced its sponsorship of the ‘Talking about our homelands’ youth initiative, launched by the Council of Arab Youth Integrated Development.
The Initiative has been sponsored by the Arab League in Cairo, as well as several other ministries including Youth and Sports, Culture, and Tourism. Sami Mahmoud, chairman of ETA has referred to the initiative as ‘an ideal platform to deal with general youth issues and support national tourism’.
Its goal is to combat intellectual extremism, where 150 young Arab participants will visit five Egyptian governorates and showcase their history and national symbols during a ceremony, and the winners will be presented with an award.
Dream Park
Considered to be Egypt’s number one amusement park, Dream Park trips are indeed every child’s dream.
The 65 hectare park is located in the giant Dreamland compound at the 6th of October City, and is a very family friendly spot, suitable for a great day out, with countless rides, shops, and fun activities for everyone. Het Ministerie van Toerisme TDA (Het Toerisme Ontwikkeling Autoriteit) maakt zich op voor haar deelname in IFTM Top Resa ,een B2B toeristische tentoonstelling die vindt plaats in Frankrijk van 20 tot 23 september.
Volgens de Voorzitter van de Egyptische Toerisme Autoriteit, Sami Mahmoud de franse markt is een van de belangrijkste Europese markten voor Egypte ,daarom zullen verschillende toeristische programma's in de komende periode gestart worden door het Ministerie van Toerisme.

Nieuwe Rode Zee Veerboot ter bevordering het Toerisme in Egypte
Afgelopen maandag werd La Pespes 300-passagier airconditioning Veerboot in ceremoniële reis ingehuldigd.
Egyptische Minister van Toerisme en Rode Zee Gouverneur waren aan boord van de veerboot eerste reis, samen met meer dan 200 mensen. Volgens iol.co.za, de veerboot verbindt in ongeveer twee uur tijd (96km) de resorts steden van Hurghada en Sharm el Sheikh.
"La Pespes" is uitgerust met verschillende middelen om de veiligheid van passagier te verzekeren; zoals reddingsvesten,reddingsvlotten,en boeien.

Het eerste vliegtuig aankomt vanuit Warschau naar sharm el-sheikh na het intrekken van negatieve reisverbod
Polen introk het reisverbod opgelegd was op Sharm el-Sheikh vorige jaar , en 183 passagiers zijn geland voor de eerste keer, woensdagochtend.
De passagiers werden met een viering begroet.
Voorzitter van luchthaven,Emad El Belasi heeft verklaard dat het intrekken van negatieve reisverbod is een belangrijke stap om Egypte gastvrijheid te herleven.
Volgens het ministerie van toerisme ,Poolse groepen zijn een van de grotere toeristische groepen in Egypte.
De piramiden site zal tegen september worden vernieuwd
Het Ministerie van Monumenten heeft verbeteringen aan alle de toeristische voorzieningen aangebracht in de piramiden site.
De geplande voorbereidingen zullen afgerond worden tegen eind September.

Egypte Toerisme Autoriteit heeft aangekondigd haar sponsoring van 'Praten over ons thuislanden" jongeren initiatief,
gelanceerd door De Arabische Jeugd Geïntegreerde Ontwikkeling Raad.

4.7 Gebruik tijdens dracht, lactatie of leg
De veiligheid van het diergeneesmiddel is niet bewezen tijdens de dracht en lactatie.
4.8 Interactie(s) met andere geneesmiddelen en andere vormen van interactie
Er bestaat in vitro antagonisme tussen erythromycine en betalactam antibiotica. Erythromycine
antagoneert de werking van clindamycine, lincomycine en chlooramfenicol. Hetzelfde geldt voor
streptomycine, tetracyclines en colistine.
4.9 Dosering en toedieningsweg
Voor intramusculaire of subcutane toediening.
5-10 mg erythromycine per kg lichaamsgewicht (overeenkomend met 0,025-0,05 ml diergeneesmiddel
per kg lichaamsgewicht), 2-3 maal daags, gedurende minimaal 3-5 dagen.

5. FARMACOLOGISCHE EIGENSCHAPPEN

5.1 Farmacodynamische eigenschappen
Erythromycine is een macrolide antibioticum dat bacteriostatisch werkt, maar wat een bactericide
effect heeft tegen gevoelige bacteriën in hoge concentraties. Macroliden werken door binding aan de
50S unit van de ribosomen van gevoelige bacteriën. Erythromycine is vooral actief tegen Grampostitieve
cocci, zoals Staphylococcus spp. en Streptococcus spp. en verschillende Gram-positieve
bacilli. Ook is het actief tegen sommige Gram-negatieve bacteriën, waaronder Haemophilus,
Pasteurella en Brucella.
5.2 Farmacokinetische eigenschappen
Na intramusculaire of subcutane toediening wordt erythromycine verdeeld over de meeste weefsels.
De spiegels in de cerebrospinale vloeistof zijn laag. De plasma-eiwitbinding is hoog. Erythromycine
kan de placenta passeren en wordt tevens uitgescheiden via de melk. Excretie vindt voornamelijk
onveranderd plaats via de gal, een deel wordt gemetaboliseerd in de lever tot inactieve metabolieten.

Ongeveer 2-5% van de dosis wordt onveranderd uitgescheiden via de nieren. De halfwaardetijd van
erythromycine in honden is 60-90 minuten.

Speciale voorzorgsmaatregelen voor gebruik bij dieren
Het gebruik van het diergeneesmiddel dient plaats te vinden op grond van gevoeligheidstesten van uit
het dier geïsoleerde bacteriën. Als dit niet mogelijk is, dient de behandeling gebaseerd te zijn op lokale
epidemiologische informatie over de gevoeligheid van de betreffende bacteriën
Speciale voorzorgsmaatregelen, te nemen door degene die het diergeneesmiddel aan de dieren toedient
In verband met mogelijke sensibilisatie en overgevoeligheidsreacties dient bij toepassing direct
huidcontact te worden vermeden. Draag daartoe handschoenen.
Gebruik tijdens dracht, lactatie of leg
De veiligheid van het diergeneesmiddel is niet bewezen tijdens de dracht en lactatie.
Interactie(s) met andere geneesmiddelen en andere vormen van interactie
Er bestaat in vitro antagonisme tussen erythromycine en betalactam antibiotica. Erythromycine
antagoneert de werking van clindamycine, lincomycine en chlooramfenicol. Hetzelfde geldt voor
streptomycine, tetracyclines en colistine.
Onverenigbaarheden
Aangezien er geen onderzoek is verricht naar de verenigbaarheid, moet het diergeneesmiddel niet met
andere diergeneesmiddelen worden vermengd.

(1)The registration of the veterinary medicinal product ERYTHROMYCIN 20% PRO INJ.; registered under number REG NL 3703 has been modified on 6 April 1987 as requested .
(2) The revised summary of product characteristics relating to the veterinary medicinal product ERYTHROMYCIN 20% PRO INJ.; registered under number REG NL 3703 can be found as annex A accompanying this decision .
(3) The modified label and , Where appropriate , the modified leaflet relating to the veterinary medicinal product ERYTHROMYCINE 20% PRO INJ.; registered under number REG NL 3703 can be found as annex B accompanying this decision .
(4) The manufacturer must deliver the existing stock (with unmodified product information ) within the six months after being provided of the modified decision .

Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals
In connection with possible sensitization and hypersensitivity reactions when we use product , direct contact with the veterinary medicinal product should be avoided. Always wear single use disposable gloves when applying the veterinary medicinal product to animals.

The safety of the product has not been proven during pregnancy and lactation.

An in vitro antagonism exists between erythromycin and beta-lactam antibiotics . Erythromycin antagonises the action of clindamycin, lincomycin and chloramphenicol. The same applies for streptomycin, tetracyclines and colistin.

(5.1) Pharmacodynamic properties
Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic that acts as bacteriostatic, but what is the bactericidal effect against susceptible bacteria in high concentrations. Macrolides are working by binding to the large 50S subunit of the sensitive bacterial ribosome.
Erythromycin is especially active against gram positive cocci such as Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus spp. such as Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus spp. and several Gram-positive bacilli . It is also active against some Gram-negative bacteria including Haemophilus , Pasteurella and Brucella .
(5.2) Pharmacokinetic properties
Erythromycin will be distributed on the most tissues after intramuscular or subcutaneous administration . The mirrors in the cerebrospinal fluid are low . The plasma-protein binding is high . Erythromycin can cross the placenta and is excreted through the milk as well. Excretion takes place mainly unchanged via the bile , a part will be metabolised to inactive metabolites in the liver .

About 2-5% of the dose is excreted unchanged through the kidneys . Half-life of erythromycin in dogs is 60-90 minutes .
