After 30 years of gathering knowledge and experience as an international entrepreneur, I recently decided to go back to my first vocation of language and interpretation. Years as a businesswoman, traveler, volunteer, creative and business writer, advertising designer and copywriter, actor, dancer, musician and non-profit board president have provided me with extensive knowledge in these areas; knowledge that provides useful tools in expression and nuance.

I love words and language. I love hearing foreign words and relishing their finer distinctions; how they are beautifully suited to a situation and particular to the culture they come from. I hear the melody and subtle sounds of Swedish and the precision of German and absorb so completely that I have been mistaken for a native. Swedish inhabits me, German intrigues me. As a translator, it is my pleasure and challenge to find that perfect expression in my native English.
