I'm a Mexico City-based EN-ES translator. I discovered my passion for translation during my teens, after I began translating and adapting songs as a hobby. My interest and skills for it led me to pursue further studies related to literature (another one of my passions) and languages. I have a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages (English) by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), in Mexico and an MA in Applied Translation Studies by the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK. These long-term studies and my ever-growing interest and interaction with literature, cinema, languages and the way they are reflected in culture have shaped me into the professional I am today, someone who's willing to learn from any project and person I work with, and to provide language services of high quality. My working experience includes working for agencies, both as an in-house and as a freelance translator, collaborating in translation/editing projects during my stay in Norwich, projects with freelance translators based in Mexico City and even some teaching.

My areas of expertise are literary/humanistic translation, technical translation and pharmaceutical translation, as well as the translation of general documents, plus editing, proofreading and copy writing. I've also got some experience in subtitling. I like to deliver high-quality results and be committed to both deadlines and my clients, whose satisfaction is my primary goal.
