I am an Italian naval architect and marine engineer with ten years of experience in the ship research field.
I have been involved in the framework of national and international research projects working as a research fellow at the University of Genova (Dept. of Naval Architecture and Marine Technologies, Dept. of Naval, Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, Dept. of Civil, Chemical and Environmental Engineering) and CETENA (The Italian Ship Research Centre).
My areas of expertise include: underwater acoustics, analysis and development of methods for the prefeasibility study of warships design, numerical and experimental analysis of structural vibrations, finite element modeling of composite materials, treatment and monitoring of ships exhaust gaseous emissions.
Combining my passion for learning languages and my engineering background, now I am trying to develop a new career as a translator.
I am also a musician and I have a Master's degree in piano and harpsichord performance.
