✓ Technical Accuracy: Upfront consideration of the technical difficulty of each translation task. One of my first actions upon receipt of the project is the creation of a glossary to raise the necessary queries early on and improve accuracy.
✓ Contextual accuracy: Similar to an actor on a stage, as a translator I understand how to interact with a text. Indeed, I imagine the scenes and how characters might relay information on phrase certain things. This ability contributes to my ability to get the tone right, even in situations that lack source references, videos or audios.
✓ Punctuality: For every project, I prepare for the possibility of a technical issue (whether a software bug, power outage… etc.), I am technically savvy and prepared to handle a variety of problems that allow me to ensure on-time delivery. In addition to producing high-quality work, of course, delivering on time is crucial.
