Bio

I have been telecommuting from home on a full-time basis since 2001. Maintain a high
degree of confidentiality with sensitive documents. Evaluate and correct
grammatical and formatting errors on documents for business/financial,
marketing, legal, technical, medical, etc. in preparation for final copy.
Proofread documents for errors in typing, spelling, syntax, and formatting.
Proofread and edit multiple types of documents under a deadline. Use CAT tools
(Trados Studio/Word, TagEditor, MemoQ, and others), and word processing
programs e.g., Microsoft Word, Open Office, and Word Perfect. Have been working
in publishing, BPOs, and with translation companies for the past 20 years. I also serve as a
consultant for several BPOs regarding printing and publishing. Being a native
speaker, I have a good command of the English language and have taught and
tutored English beginning in 2001, in 2 universities as well as online.
