An award-winning Lawyer-Linguist who is passionate about cultural and economic diplomacy. Prior to her move, and between 1994 and May 2013, she served in various key positions at the South African Embassy in Amman while covering: Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and the Arab-Israeli crises. As the Embassy’s Senior Translator/Researcher and Interpreter, Linda rendered high quality professional translation and interpretation for senior diplomats and officials. Linda is the winner of numerous merit awards for outstanding performance, awarded by the South African Department of Foreign Affairs and Embassy in Amman. In addition to various training workshops organized by the South African Department of Foreign Affairs and other South African bodies, Linda studied Law, at Beirut Arab University, and attended post graduate studies in Political Leadership, at George Washington University’s Post Graduate School of Political Management. Some of her work was published by the Institute of Comparative Law in Belgrade.
