Bio

As a Chartered Linguist, Member of the Institute of Linguists (MCIL) and Institute of Translation and Interpreting (MITI), I translate from German into English, specialising in business, current affairs and higher education.

After qualifying and starting my career in-house, translating newspaper articles at the Financial Times, I set up my own freelance translation business. Over the last two decades, I have worked on a wide variety of projects with clients in the UK and across Europe.

I enjoy translating short texts, such as press releases for companies and government departments, research articles for academics and website content for universities. I also provide certified translations of CVs, references and certificates.
