Born in England and living in Brazil since 2008, I am a UK qualified
translator, teacher and journalist. I have been working as coordinator of English at the Federal University
of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) since 2009, which includes teaching,
translating, revising and interpreting services for foreign guests at
the university. Working at UFRJ and the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) has allowed
me to gain experience in translating in many different areas, from
Chemistry to Psychology and many others. I have also worked on projects for companies such as Cielo, Siemens and
Petrobras and have recently been proof reading legal documents for
the Lava Jato (Car Wash) police operation in Brazil. Available for professional translations from Portuguese or Spanish to English.
