Venice, Italy is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and home to many attractions and sights, some of which are off the beaten “tourist” path. If you are thinking of planning a trip to Venice or may find yourself there on business in the future, keep in mind activities you just should not miss.
Things to do:
1. If you only have a short amount of time to devote to sightseeing while in Venice, riding a vaporetto up the Grand Canal will give you the best perspective on the “real” Venice. There are several times and places at which you could board for a pleasant experience.
2. St. Mark’s Square is one of the most visited and most photographed places in Venice, and for a reason. It is lit up at night and, if you can make it out in the late evening, you will find that most or all other tourists have left it empty for a truly spectacular experience and an excellent opportunity to take photos.
3. You will pass by the Peggy Guggenheim Museum while riding the Vaporetto but do not leave Venice until you have been to see this museum’s gorgeous sculpture garden and collection of art featuring many renown artists including Picasso.

Cosas por hacer:
1. En caso de contar con poco tiempo para entregarse a recorrer Venecia durante su estadía, pasear en un vaporetto (embaracción para el transporte público) a lo largo del Gran Canal le dará la mejor perspectiva de la Venecia “verdadera”. Existen variados horarios y lugares en los cuales puede abordar para disfrutar de una experiencia memorable.
2. La Plaza de San Marcos es uno de los destinos más visitados y fotografiados en Venecia, y con mucha razón. Es iluminada en las noches y si Usted la visita entrado el atardecer, encontrará que la mayoría o todos los otros turistas la han abandonado y podrá vivir una experiencia honestamente espectacular, una gran oportunidad para tomar fotos.
3. Al pasear en el vaporetto pasará frente al Museo de Peggy Guggenheim pero no deje Venecia hasta que haya visitado el majestuoso jardín de esculturas del museo y la colección de arte que presenta a numerosos artistas famosos incluyendo Picasso.
