I am a Greek native speaker and an English – Greek and Greek – English translator based in Athens.
My specializations include legal, political and financial translations as my MSc in International and European Politics in Edinburgh University enabled me to study in depth the terminology of the above issues. I have already translated two books in Greek language concerning diplomacy and international relations theory and I have recently attended a three month seminar in legal translation which provided me with useful insights on the following areas: analysis of legal texts types and language styles, introduction to legal systems and company types, research methodology, translation practice in court, notarial and company documents, as well as on CAT tools and files created with all main MS Office programs.
In addition, because of my two year presence in UK I am familiar with the culture, customs and social settings of English language.
