English to Norwegian: Sample from the movie "The Secret Lives of Bees"
Source text - English
The bees came the summer of 64. The summer I turned 14 and my whole life went spinning off into a whole new orbit.

Looking back on it, I wanna' say they were sent to me. I wanna' say they showed up like the angel Gabriel appeared onto the virgin Mary.

I know it's forward to compare my small life to hers.
But I have good reason to believe, she wouldn't mind.

And so, the white knight opened the door and saw more gold and jewels then he could ever imagine.
The wizard said; "give me the princess, and you shall have all the riches in the world."
The white knight gazed upon the wizard and saw that it was the devil, who had already banished the villagers wives.
"I said, give me the princess!" "Never!" he cried and slayed the devil with his spear.

My mother and I are estranged.
My father and I are not.
I am his dead ringer.
I wonder what it would be like to be his spitting image.
Maybe I should hope to look more like my mother, him being dead and all.
Mummified or not, I don't think people telling me I look just like my father, the last time they saw him, is a very good compliment. When I croak I won't choose a glass coffin for everyone's eyes to see. I will spare my son the unpleasantness of my dead comparison. My good looks might be too much for mortal eyes.
Translation - Norwegian
Mine kjekke trekk kunne bli for mye for dødelige øyne.

Bio
I am tidy, precise and I take great pride in doing a good job, and delivering on time.
I am fluent in both my native tongue; Norwegian, and in English.
I am fluent in both British English and American English.

From an early age, I showed a great passion for linguistics.
I love watching movies so this is the perfect job for me. I make an effort to keep myself current and up to speed in modern expressions and slang.
I love reading English Pocket. And my free time I spend watching American, British and Canadian TV-shows and movies.

Different accents within the English language have always fascinated me. I have perfected both an American and a British accent, by watching TV and repeating inflections characteristic of the different accents. So that's what I do on an everyday basis; I vocalize different accents to myself, just to keep the language skills fresh. And just because I love the language so much. Right now I am quite fascinated in trying to perfect a deep south American accent, drawing inspiration from TV-series such as True Blood, and trying to master an Irish accent.

Hidden meanings within a language is just as important as the outright ones. And it has always saddened me whenever watching a TV-show or movie, and a hidden contemporary meaning within the language has been translated wrong; Knowing so many people won't get something crucial or funny, just because it wasn't translated correctly.
So translation is my passion! ^^
