I am writing this email to inquire about a language technology position at your company or to provide my language services to your company or organization. My services or language related competencies include translation, localization and globalization of various forms of data and information. I used to work at some of the major multinational corporations such as Siemens, Deutsche Babcock, Alstom etc where I functioned also as an interpreter and translator for my expatriates colleagues, in addition to my engineering and management functions. The total length of this service amounts to more than 10 years.

Then afterwards, I have developed and provided various business and technology services to worldwide clients in various fields, incl. also translation, localization and globalization services. My services include among others, localizing software, help documentation, company and product pamphlets, websites, databases, multimedia files. Areas of specialties cover energy, power, machinery, semiconductors, engineering, multimedia and web, IT, laws etc. Languages cover English, German and French.

I started to learn foreign languages very young and by 20, I was able to use 5 languages – English, German, French, Russian and Esperanto.. And since 2007 I have even added three other languages to my competence list – Greek, Latin and Hebrew. And English has been my working language since the early 1990’s and my English is nearly at the native level.

My another strong point and uniqueness is my proficiency with IT technologies and working with IT related materials during my language services.

I am also familiar with mainstream language technologies, platforms and tools as well as current terminology databases.
