I am Mohamed El Seidi, an English <> Arabic translator/proofreader, with a deep passion for linguistics and over 10 years of experience both as a freelancer and a full-timer.

I currently work as full time translator at the Thesaurus Islamicus Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to heritage preservation and fine book publishing. 

In 2015, I was awarded the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Grant. I traveled to the United States where I taught Arabic as a foreign language and studied linguistics for one academic year at the Pennsylvania State University. The experience deepened my understanding of languages and made be a better translator.
