Bio
Technical Translator with Extensive Technical Writing Experience.

My name is Steven. I have been doing part-time freelance translation for approximately six years, mostly related to film and television as well as academic translation (anthropology and linguistics).

In addition to my work as a translator, I have been a professional technical writer for almost 20 years. I've produced high-quality technical and end-user documentation for companies including IBM, Oracle, Informix Software, and BEA Systems. Much of the content I have produced has been translated into many different languages.

In addition to having expertise my target languages, my experience as as technical writer provides in-depth knowledge of professional documentation standards and style. I’m currently interested in working on projects related to IT and software translation.
