When I moved to Spain I started working at a translation agency and this is when I realised: I want to become a professional translator!
After several years as a translation project manager I wanted to start a bachelor in translation and I moved to Amsterdam to complete it. Since 2010 I work as a freelance linguist for big end-clients and smaller direct clients. What I love to do most is make an already translated text sound absolutely perfect - as if it were written in Dutch.
Sometimes I feel translations sound too archaic and it would not be something you'd actually say in day to day speech. It is my mission to help turn this around!
