Bio
I have more than 20 years of working experience within the translation industry. Presently, I am working as a freelance translator/project manager.

As a translator I have worked for IT companies, such as ICL, WordPerfect Corp., and IBM.
As a translator/project manager I have worked for a number of international translation companies, such as Berlitz GlobalNET, Bowne Global Solutions, Lionbridge, and AAC Global.

During my carreer I have worked on translation projects from a variety of IT clients, such as Novell, Epson, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, IBM, Google, and Microsoft. I have also worked on projects from MedTech clients like Carestream and Lundbeck.

My core competencies are no doubt within the field of IT translation (software/doc/help). However, I’m also a skilled translator within the field of marketing/advertising texts.

I have long-standing ”hands-on” experience from using a variety of translation tools, such as Trados/TagEditor, SDL Trados Studio, Passolo, Idiom WorkBench, Novell Localization WorkBench, Catalyst, Multilizer, SDLX, IBM Translation Manager/2, etc.
