Η τελεολογική ερμηνεία των αξιώσεων περί του δικαιώματος ευρεσιτεχνίας αναγνωρίζει ότι η ανακάλυψη θα εφαρμοστεί σε φυτά αναγεννημένα από τα κατοχυρωμένα με δίπλωμα ευρεσιτεχνίας κύτταρα, είτε τα φυτά βρίσκονται εντός είτε εκτός εργαστηρίου. Εταιρείες παροχής υπηρεσιών στοιχημάτων και τυχερών παιγνίων μέσω του διαδικτύου που είναι νόμιμα εγκατεστημένες σε κράτη – μέλη της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και του Ευρωπαϊκού Οικονομικού χώρου και κατέχουν σχετική νόμιμη άδεια λειτουργίας και παροχής τέτοιων υπηρεσιών, μπορούν να συνεχίσουν την παροχή υπηρεσιών στη μεταβατική περίοδο μέχρι την εφαρμογή των διατάξεων του νόμου αυτού που διέπουν το διαδικτυακό στοίχημα και τη χορήγηση των σχετικών αδειών μόνο εφόσον υπαχθούν αμέσως και οικειοθελώς στο φορολογικό καθεστώς των άρθρων 45 έως 50 του νόμου αυτού, αναδρομικά στα πλαίσια του άρθρου 78 παρ. 2 του Συντάγματος. ..."

Companies providing betting and gambling services through the internet, which are legally established in Member States of the European Union and the European Economic Area and which are in possession of a related legal license to operate and to offer such services, may continue the provision of services during the transitional period until the implementation of the provisions of this Act that govern online betting and the granting of related licenses only if they immediately and voluntarily become subject to the tax regime provided for in articles 45 to 50 of this Act, retroactively within the framework of article 78 par. 2 of the Constitution. ..."
