I am an EN-PT(BR) and PT-EN translator and proofreader. I was born and raised in Brazil and am half American. As a child, I was raised in an English speaking home, and I also attended an American school for several years. As such, English is to me as much of a first language as is Portuguese. In the beginning of 2007, I moved with my family to Durham, NC, where I worked at Duke University’s Gyn Continuity Clinic for four years. This experience gave me a wonderful opportunity to perfect my technical English in the medical field.
