• I am a native speaker of Slovak language.
• I lived and worked in Oxford,
  United Kingdom for 4 years.
• I have a degree in Translation and
  Interpreting (Slovak Language and Literature – English Language and Culture).

Translation – During the 13 years that I have worked as
a translator I have worked in many different fields of study. I worked for Slovakia’s leading provider of digital education
content ensuring the linguistic quality of interactive learning materials for
primary and secondary schools. I work mainly in
the areas of medical, education/pedagogy, web localization, science, law, sports  and engineering.  However, I am willing to consider all kinds of
text for translation, subtitling or editing.

Interpreting – During the last decade I have gained a considerable
amount of experience working as a freelance interpreter in Slovakia and
other European countries. In 2018 I became an occasional ice-hockey
post-game press conference interpreter for coaches and journalists. I have been working as a freelance over-the-phone interpreter (OPI) for the last three years.
