Source text - Czech Kapitola první - život a dílo
Jan Blažej Santini Aichel byl pokřtěn dne 4. února 1677 jako syn kamenického mistra Santina Aichela a jeho manželky Alžběty rozené Thymové ve Svatovítské katedrále v Praze. Prvorozený syn však bohužel trpěl od narození tělesnou vadou. Byl částečně ochrnutý a chromý, což mu bránilo úspěšně pokračovat v otcově řemeslnické kariéře. Osud mu však připravil jinou cestu.
Od poloviny 16. století se stává italská umělecká imigrace významnou součástí života královského města Prahy. Množství a trvalé působení těchto vzdělaných a zkušených mistrů přineslo z italského prostředí široký rejstřík nových témat a motivů. Zvláště výrazně tyto vlivy zesílily v souvislosti s příchodem císařského dvora Rudolfa II. Další impulz získaly po skončení třicetileté války a návratu českých zemí do lůna katolické církve. Zatímco v prvním půlstoletí italského působení v Čechách ještě převládaly renesanční formy, dochází v průběhu naplňování pobělohorského scénáře k plnému rozvinutí barokních forem. Na přelomu 17. a 18. století se pak odehraje osudové setkání baroka s gotikou, aby se jejich syntézou mohl zrodit nový originální sloh, česká barokní gotika.
Italskou kolonii v Čechách však netvořili pouze renomovaní umělci. Společně s nimi přicházeli také mistři jednotlivých stavebních řemesel. Po založení vlastních dílen se zde natrvalo usadili aby v příštích generacích splynuli s novým prostředím. Právě tak jako děd malého Jana Blažeje, zednický mistr Antonio Aychel, který přišel z jihotyrolského městečka Roveredo, ležícího na břehu Luganského jezera. Za manželku si v roce 1635 vzal pannu Kristinu Ostovou z Plzně, tedy stejně jako o generaci později jeho syn, ženu s ryze českými kořeny. Potomek vzešlý z třetí generace pak už v sobě měl většinu české krve a tak o něm můžeme skutečně psát jako o geniálním českém architektu italského původu.
Jenomže mladý Santini byl především, v dnešním slova smyslu Evropan. Mluvil a psal česky, německy i italsky a pravděpodobně také latinsky. Vedle kamenické praxe svých předků byl vzdělán v malířství a architektuře a zajímal se i o další exaktní obory. Mimo jiné je u něho známá záliba v křesťanské kabale a ve smyslu potřebné preciznosti musel mít zcela jasno i v takové oblasti, jakou představuje dnešní deskriptivní geometrie. V rozlehlých prostorách Pražské katedrály poznával stavební postupy gotických mistrů, v ateliéru svého učitele Jeana Matheye zvládl barokní principy, na cestách nasákl italským barokním radikalismem a to vše se mu pak v jeho geniálním mozku propojilo.
Translation - English Chapter one – His life and work
Jan Blazej Santini-Aichel, son of stonemason Santini-Aichel and Elizabeth née Thymova, was baptized on 4 February 1677 in St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. Unfortunately, their oldest son was born with a physical handicap - paralysed in part of his body and lame. This disability prevented him from continuing in his father's career and working in masonry. Fate, however, had something else in store for him.
From the mid-16th century, the immigration of Italian artists became an important part of life in the royal city of Prague. The sheer amount of educated and experienced masters, and exposure to them over time, introduced a wide range of new Italian topics and themes. In particular, these factors were greatly intensified with the arrival of the imperial court of Rudolf II. Another impulse was felt after the Thirty Years' War and the return of the Czech lands to the Catholic Church. While Italian work in the Czech Republic was still dominated by Renaissance forms in the first half of the century, baroque forms were fully developing during the post-White Mountain period. At the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries, the fateful meeting of Gothic and Baroque took place. Their synthesis gave birth to a new and original style, the Czech Baroque Gothic.
The Italian colony in Bohemia did not only include renowned artists. Various master builders were also in attendance. After founding their own workshops, they permanently settled down and merged with this new environment in the generations that followed. The grandfather of little Jan Blazej, Antonio Aichel, came from the South Tyrolean town of Roveredo situated on the shores of Lugano Lake. Like his son, he married a full-blooded Czech woman. As a third generation descendant, he mostly had Czech blood running through his veins; that is why we describe him as a genius Czech architect of Italian descent.
In the modern sense, however, young Santini was European. He spoke and wrote in Czech, German and Italian. He was probably well versed in Latin, as well. In addition to the stonework tradition of his ancestors, he was also educated in painting, architecture and other scientific disciplines. Among other things, he was known for his interest in the Christian Kabbalah. In terms of precision, it was necessary for him to possess very good knowledge of a field, which is now known as descriptive geometry. In vast areas of the Prague Cathedral, he learnt about the building techniques of Gothic masters. In the studio of his teacher, French architect Jean Mathey, he learnt about Baroque principles. On his numerous trips, he absorbed the radicalism of Italian Baroque. The accumulation of all this information just clicked in his genius brain.

Source text - Czech "Nové zvíře" konečně představeno na výstavě GLASSTEC 2010:
Sklostroj dokončil intenzivní práci na projektu ISS a představil nejmodernější stroj na výrobu obalového skla pod označením ISS.
ISS stroj je doslova napěchován servopohony a eliminuje komplikované mechanizmy, což činí nový stroj více kompaktním a odolným. Toto je patrné zejména u lineárního zavírání forem, které je jak na přední, tak na konečné straně poháněné servomotory. Jednou z největších výhod stroje je jeho univerzálnost. Stroj je možné provozovat od jedno- až po čtyř-kapkový způsob výroby. V „trojkapce“ je možné vyrábět produkty až do průměru 105mm a ve „čtyřkapce“ do průměru 60mm. Na stroji mohou být použity stávající formy.
Konstrukce nového stroje splňuje jak ergonomické a bezpečnostní aspekty, tak rovněž i požadavky na rychlou výměnu příslušenství a pohonů. Nový stroj je navržen pro vysoké rychlosti, čehož je dosaženo především použitím servopohonů a efektivního chlazení.
Translation - English A new animal has been released from its cage at GLASSTEC 2010:
Sklostroj finalized its intensive work on the ISS project and released the new, state-of-the-art ISS glass container production machine.
Due to a host of servo-drives, and the elimination of complicated mechanisms, ISS is more compact and rigid. This is specifically true at MOC, which uses real parallel and servo-driven motors on both the blank and blow sides. One of the biggest advantages of this machine is its versatility. It can be converted from SG up to QG. It is capable of producing products with body diameters up to 105 mm in TG and 60 mm in QG. It can also accommodate existing moulds.
Ergonomic and safety features have been incorporated into the new design of this machine, with quick-change parts, mechanisms and drives. It is designed for high speed production, which is achieved using fully controllable servo-drives and by utilizing very efficient cooling.
