I grew up bilingual, working and studying in Norway and the United
Kingdom. I hold a first class honours Bachelor's degree from the University of London (SOAS) and a DPhil from the University of Oxford. In Norway I edited the Norwegian Trade Council’s English-language publication Norway Exports
and then worked for a translation agency for two years before successfully
passing the examination for government-authorised translators at the
Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2005.
In 2014 I took up interpreting (English/Norwegian and Spanish/Norwegian) and regular take on conference interpreting assignments as well as in the courts and for the police in both languages. I have passed the Norwegian government-authorisation interpreting exam in both Spanish and English.
