If you want to see San Francisco in the sixties, just come swimming with me.
Every morning, I pick up my friend and drive to Aquatic Park, where we change into swimsuits, take a deep breath and plunge into San Francisco Bay. Yes, it is cold, and, yes, some say there are sharks. But here is my San Francisco: the waters of the Pacific rushing from the Golden Gate Bridge out past the lighthouse of Alcatraz and the old, tall-masted ships in the harbour; turn around and the city is backlit by dawn – the Transamerica Pyramid, Coit Tower in North Beach, cable cars dropping down before us where already people are lined up for a coffee at the Buena Vista Cafe – nowhere can you see Google, or Facebook, or Apple. Gone are the changes of modern San Francisco. From here, you can see the city as it was 50 years ago. When hippies changed the world.

صبيحة كل يوم، كنت أقل صديقي /صديقتي ونذهب إلى الحديقة المائية "أكواتيك بارك"، حيث نرتدي حلل السباحة ونأخذ نفسا عميقا قبل أن نغطس في "خليج سان فرانسيسكو". صحيح أنه بارد، وصحيح أن به أسماك قرش كا يقول البعض، لكن هنا توجد سان فرانسيسكو خاصتي/ التي في خاطري: بمياه المحيط الهادي التي تندفع من "جسر جولدن جايت" مرورا ب"منارة الكاتراز"، و بالسفن القديمة الراسية في الميناء بصواريها الباسقة في الفضاء، و بنظرة للوراء نجد الضوء يتسرب إلى المدينة من خلفها فيضيئها عند حلول الفجر- وب"ناطحة سحاب ترانس- أمريكا"، و"برج كويت" ب"نورث كوست"، وعربات القطار المعلقة التي تحط أمامنا حيث الناس قد وقفوا مصطفين لشراء القهوة من مقهى "بوينا فيستا"- هناك حيث لا ترى وجودا لجوجل أو فيسبوك أو أبل في أي مكان.
هناك حيث لا ترى أثرا للتغيرات التي طرأت على سان فرانسيسكو الحديثة. بوسعك أن تري،من هذا المكان، المدينة على هيئتها التي كانت عليها منذ خمسين عاما مضت؛ عندما غيرالهيبيز العالم.

There are 2 categories:
Minimum royalty: The franchisee remits a minimum royalty fee in periods in which the royalty as a percentage of sales does not meet the minimum royalty. These fees are usually adjusted periodically based upon a CPI or other basis.
Cumulative average: Sales in periods which exceed the minimum requirements may be averaged with sales in periods which did not meet minimum requirements. This reduces the negative impact felt by franchisees who are required to pay a minimum fee. The periods which may be averaged are typically limited to three months.
4-Fixed royalty
This fee is fixed and isn’t affected by unit sales, benefitting the franchisee fully in case of an increase of units sold. It’s normally adjusted periodically based upon a CPI or other basis.
5-Startup period adjustment
To assist franchisees during the development period, some franchisors eliminate or reduce the royalty rate during the development period.
6-Transaction-based
Franchisees are charged a fixed fee based upon number of units sold, transactions closed, rooms rented, bottles shipped, etc.
7-No royalty fee
In franchise systems in which the franchisor earns income from the sale of merchandise or services to its franchisees, the markup on these sales and services is earned instead of royalties.

وله فئتان:
• الحد الأدنى من العوائد: يدفع صاحب الإمتياز حدًا أدنى من العوائد في الفترات التي تكون فيها العوائد ، في صورة أرباح من المبيعات، لا تصل إلى الحد الأدنى من العوائد، ويتم تعديل هذه الرسوم على فترات بناءً على مؤشر أسعار المستهلك أو اعتبارات أخرى.
• . المتوسط التراكمي: يمكن موازنة المبيعات التي تجاوزت الحد الأدنى من المتطلبات خلال فترة ما مع المبيعات التي لم تبلغ الحد الأدنى، يحد هذا من الأثر السلبي الذي يتأثر به صاحب الإمتياز الذي يجب عليه دفع حد أدنى من الرسوم، عادة ما تكون مدة الفترات المتوسط ثلاث أشهر.
4-عوائد ثابتة
تكون الرسوم ثابتة ولا تتأثر بعدد الوحدات المباعة، وهو ما يفيد صاحب الإمتياز تمامًا إذا ما حدثت زيادة في مبيعات الوحدات، وفي العادة يتم تعديل النسبة دوريًا، بناء على مؤشر أسعار المستهلك أو اعتبارات أخرى.
5- تعديلات فترة بداية النشاط
يخفض بعض مانحي الإمتياز العوائد المطلوبة من صاحب الإمتياز خلال فترة النمو الأولى، أو يعفوه منها خلال فترة البداية.
6- بناء على المعاملات التجارية
يدفع صاحب الإمتياز رسوم ثابتة بناء على عدد الوحدات المباعة، أو العمليات البيع المنجزة،او الغرف التي تم تأجيرها،أو الزجاجات التي تم شحنها وهكذا.
7- بدون رسوم عوائد
إذا كان نظام الإمتياز يسمح لصاحب الإمتياز يالحصول على دخل من مبيعات البضائع أو الخدمات التي يقدمها لصاحب الإمتياز،فأن الربح الناتج عن هذه المبيعات يكون بديلا عن العوائد.

الدرجة الأولى درجة واجبة و هي الإيمان الإجمالي و معناه أن يؤمن العبد أن كل ما يحدث في الكون بتقدير الله جل جلاله و أن الله يعلم كل شيء .
الثانية : درجة مستحبة و هي الإيمان المفصل و معناه أن يؤمن العبد بمراتب القدر الأربع التي سيأتي تفصيلها .
قال شيخنا حفظه الله تعالى : و فيه ضابطان :
الضابط الأول : مراتب القدر أربع :
الأولى :العلم
الثانية :الكتابة
الثالثة :المشيئة
الرابعة :الخلق
معنى قوله حفظه الله : مراتب القدر أربع ، أي لا يتحقق إيمان العبد بالقضاء و القدر حتى يؤمن بهذه المراتب الأربع :
الأولى : العلم و معناها أن الله تعالى علمه محيط بكل شيء فلا يخفى عليه شيء سبحانه و تعالى .
و من الأدلة على ذلك قوله تعالى : ( عالم الغيب و الشهادة ) . و الغيب هو ما غاب عنا و الشهادة هي ما شهدناه .
Translation - English Belief in fate and Devine Decree occurs in two levels
Level one: This level is mandatory; it refers to the general and broad belief of a slave that everything happening in the universe happens by a preordination from Allah Glorified and Exalted be He, and that Allah knows everything.
Level two: This level is commendable and refers to the detailed and extensive belief where the slave believes in the four ranks of faith; which are to be mentioned in details later.
In this respect our reverend scholar pointed to two main components:
Component one: The four ranks of faith:
Rank one: The Knowledge
Rank two: The Writing
Rank three: The Will
Rank four: The Creation
What the sheikh means by the four ranks of fate is that a slave’s faith in preordainment is not complete unless he believed in these four ranks:
Rank one: The Knowledge- it means that Allah’s knowledge encompasses everything, and that there is nothing that is concealed from Him Glorified and Exalted be he.
One evidence for this is His saying (He is the All Knower of the unseen and the seen.) The unseen is things that we have not witnessed and the seen refers to things that we have witnessed.
