Česká policie nejspíš znovu otevře divokou privatizaci Mostecké uhelné společnosti. Pomohou jí k tomu dokumenty, jež nyní shromáždila švýcarská prokuratura. Ty se marně čeští vyšetřovatelé snažili získat takřka deset let.

Švýcaři totiž při vyšetřování jiného případu narazili na toky peněz, jež souvisí s Mosteckou uhelnou. A část z nich zablokovali kvůli podezření z praní špinavých peněz. A předminulý týden tehdejší manažery dolů přijeli vyslechnout. To, že Švýcaři dané informace českým kolegům poskytnou, potvrdil i mluvčí protikorupční policie Roman Skřepek. "V rámci naší spolupráce jsme se dohodli, že si budeme předávat informace," řekl.

Czech police are likely to reopen the case of the wild privatization of the Mostecká Uhelná Company, thanks to documents collected by the Swiss prosecution authorities. Czech police have been unsuccessfully trying to get hold of these documents for almost a decade.

Whilst working on another case, the Swiss identified money transactions related to the Mostecká Uhelná Company. Part of the money was frozen due to suspicion of money laundering. Two weeks ago, the prosecutors came over to interrogate the then managers of the mines. "We agreed to share information as part of our partnership," said Roman Skřepek, anti-corruption police spokesman, confirming the Swiss will make information related to the case available to their Czech counterparts.

ČVUT Fakulta jaderná a fyzikálně inženýrská

Czech Technical University (CVUT) Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical
Engineering

His name is Vrabec (Sparrow), but do not be mistaken, for he is not of the bird kind. The folksy name Vrabec (also rather mysteriously known as VR-1) is used by the Prague CVUT teachers and students to refer to their research nuclear reactor. Unlike its more powerful counterparts that reside inside the nuclear powerplants Temelín and Dukovany, the Sparrow’s thermal power is a mere 1kW. However, its significance lies within the fact that it is used by students from 15 different faculties in the Czech Republic, mainly from the field
of nuclear science and related subject areas. The instruction consists of an excursion with a demonstration of the reactor's operation, carrying out experimental tasks as well as multiple-day training courses. The study of nuclear science for Czech university students at the VR-1 reactor was supported last year by the ČEZ Group.

Bio
Experienced Czech to English, English to Czech translator, interpreter & voiceover talent w/ a professional recording studio Services
—Translation
—Voiceover recording, production & mixing
—Proofreading
—Localisation
—Copywriting
—Interpreting

Having studied translatology at Charles University in Prague (and @ Bronx High School
of Science in New York City), I have since worked on translating projects covering a wide
stylistic range, including artistic as well as technical and legal texts. My credits include
translating documents for CEZ (biggest Central- and Eastern-European company),
Hachette Filipacchi (world's largest magazine publisher), MAFRA Media (largest Czech
media corporation), legal texts or magazines, as well as small-scale projects
such as translating independent film documentaries into English. I have also done interpreting
work, including gigs like consecutive interpreting at TV-streamed conferences.

My other field of expertise is sound and audio production. I have produced,
recorded and mixed hundreds of voiceovers, most being Czech to English translations.
I am able to deliver professional TV- and radio-ready mixes in my studio.

I specialize in delivering polished and stylistically accurate translations; something
that is often hard to come by as translations tend to get the point across, yet feel cumbersome.
More than 50% of my work has been translating from Czech into English, but being a native
speaker of Czech, I'm indeed comfortable translating into Czech as well.

I will be happy to provide you with any additional information and I look forward to offering you my services!
