Source text - English Introduction
The introductory Technicians workbook is designed to help Technicians new to Trabant with familiarisation of the vehicles and the systems available to them. The workbook will also help identify any areas where specific training needs maybe required.
The workbook is divided into four sections:
• Section one gives a brief overview and explanation of the 7 core processes in Trabant After Sales
• Section two has a set of practical assignments; these cover a broad range of subject areas which will increase exposure to the technology, the vehicles and the equipment employed by Trabant. The assignments give an ideal opportunity to learn the differences and or similarities with each of the models produced by Trabant, they will help with the day to day use of Trabant equipment and with some research allow you to become more familiar with the location and functionality of the main control units and the systems used.
• Section three is a self-appraisal that must only to be completed when all other sections have been successfully completed and signed by the mentor, this self-appraisal will highlight any areas not yet covered and will give an opportunity for the Technician and the Trabant Centre to mutually agree an appropriate training path.
• Section four summarises the practical experiences gained through the different tasks to help with the Technicians understanding of the fundamental electrical/electronic & mechanical systems used by Trabant.
When all four sections have been fully completed and signed off, please send in the complete Workbook to the Training Manager of your market.
Guided Fault Finding
The PIWIS Tester II is equipped with a Guided Fault Finding program which is designed to systematically lead you through a set of steps up to the cause of the fault. It can be used with or without a fault recorded on the PIWIS Tester II.
Knowledge of the button operation, menu selection and navigation is very important with guided fault finding as incorrect user inputs could lead to increased time taken and possible wrong fault diagnosis.
Guided Fault Finding often requires the use of the PIWIS Tester II multi-meter, oscilloscope and wiring diagrams so familiarisation with these is also very important.

In turn, these new technologies call for new skills at the workshops. Trabant pursues a strategy providing for different levels of qualification for workshop personnel specialised in hybrid vehicles. Hybrid-specific work is now carried out jointly by high-voltage technicians and electrically skilled persons.

Buku kerja ini dibagi menjadi empat bagian :

• Di bagian kedua terdapat satu set tugas praktis; tugas ini ditujukan agar teknisi memiliki pemahaman yang mendalam tentang kendaraan, peralatan, dan teknologi yang digunakan oleh Trabant. Tugas yang diberikan akan memberikan kesempatan bagi teknisi untuk mempelajari perbedaan atau persamaan dari tiap model kendaraan yang diproduksi oleh Trabant. Hal tersebut akan membantu teknisi untuk dapat mengoperasikan peralatan Trabant sehari-hari. Dengan pembelajaran yang lebih mendalam teknisi diharapkan dapat lebih memahami lokasi dan fungsi setiap unit kontrol dan sistem yang digunakan.
• Bagian ketiga adalah pengujian diri. Bagian ini hanya dapat dikerjakan setelah semua bagian pelatihan telah selesai dan ditandatangani oleh pembimbing. Lembar pengujian diri ini dapat membantu teknisi untuk lebih fokus pada pelatihan mengenai bagian-bagian kendaraan yang belum dipelajari dan memberikan kesempatan bagi Teknisi dan Pusat Pelatihan Trabant untuk menentukan metode pelatihan yang paling tepat.
• Bagian keempat merangkum pengalaman praktis yang diperoleh setelah menyelesaikan berbagai tugas yang berbeda untuk membantu Teknisi memahami dasar dari sistem mekanis dan elektris yang digunakan oleh Trabant.
Setelah empat bagian tersebut diselesaikan dan ditandatangani, teknisi diharapkan untuk mengirimkan Buku Kerja yang telah lengkap kepada Manager Pelatihan yang bertanggung jawab.
Perangkat PIWIS Tester II dilengkapi dengan program Guided Fault Finding yang dibuat untuk memandu Anda melaksanakan langkah-langkah yang harus dilakukan untuk menemukan penyebab kerusakan. Perangkat ini dapat digunakan dengan atau tanpa alat perekam kerusakan yang ada pada PIWIS Tester II.
Pemahaman menyeluruh mengenai tata cara pengoperasian tombol, pemilihan menu dan navigasi sangat penting saat proses panduan pencarian kerusakan berlangsung. Kesalahan input/masukan dapat menyebabkan terbuangnya waktu dan kemungkinan diagnosa kerusakan yang tidak sesuai.
Program Guided Fault Finding mengharuskan penggunaan PIWIS Tester II multi-meter, oscilloscope dan wiring diagram, jadi teknisi wajib memiliki pemahaman menyeluruh terhadap perangkat-perangkat tersebut.
Sebelum mengerjakan tugas-tugas pada pelatihan Guided Fault Finding, teknisi wajib membaca buku petunjuk secara menyeluruh.

2. The people of Vancouver have chosen a blend of nature with their urban living.
3. They agree to sustain this way of living by curtailing urban sprawl so they built the city upwards, not outward, preserving the proximity of nature everywhere.
4. Coming from just a personal place of what makes Vancouver special to me, I would say partly because I’ve never driven a car.
5. With its high livability rating it’s no wonder there’s so many new comers to Vancouver. In Vancouver we like to try to encourage people to ride a bike or take the bus or even walk.
6. Yet despite global migrations more people in Vancouver doesn’t seem to equal more congestion.
7. It’s been designed from the ground up to be that way, to be a very, very intense city with a lot of cool things to do for people that just want to walk. How do you get around town? I just walk.
8. So getting around Vancouver is not just about transportation but experiencing the Vancouver way of life. Vancouver has no highway cutting through its city but it does have an extensive system of bikeways. Which connects with all the public transport systems, buses, SkyTrain, sea buses, ferries, and the West Coast Express, a commuter rail service.
9. One ticket allows you to transfer from one mode of transportation to another in any direction for 90 minutes. Day passes cost around six dollars and are good on all public transit. And with all the tree lined streets and parks, walking these short distances offers yet another outdoor adventure.
10. Over 30 years I’ve seen this city grow into a major city. You’ve got, you know, a lot more happening in terms of cultural events.
