I grew up in Florence, Italy. I spent two semesters in the US in 1999 (Georgetown University) and in 2001 (University of Arizona). I graduated from the University of Florence in Foreign Languages after a four-years course (magna cum laude) in 2002 (I studied English and French, in particular). Shortly after, in 2003, I attended a specialized course in literary translation, still at the University of Florence. I have worked as a translator ever since, first as an employee for an international company in a fully bilingual English-Italian work environment and subsequently as a freelancer.

I have also been teaching English in Italian Secondary Schools.

It is my priority to provide high-quality translations.

I am a sworn translator entitled to submit legalized translations from English into Italian.
