XXX Own Brand wines honoured at Trophée Lyon Beaujolais Nouveau 2011
The two Own Brand wines Beaujolais Nouveau André Vonnier and Villages André Vonnier have been awarded “Great Gold Medal” and “Silver Medal” respectively at the 11th Trophée Lyon Beaujolais Nouveau. This is an annual principal Beaujolais Nouveau wine tasting competition that took place in Lyon (France) in November. Another exclusive brand wine JC Debeaune received “Gold Medal” at the event as well.
92 wine experts from around the world formed 18 panels to blind taste and assess 402 samples of 2011 vintage of Beaujolais Nouveau and Beaujolais Villages Nouveau red and rosé submitted to this year’s competition. 13 Great Gold Medals were issued to the winners where the Own Brand wine André Vonnier of XXX claimed its spot. In addition, the Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau André Vonnier was among the 46 silver medallists while the exclusive brand wine JC Debeaune secured a gold medal.
All three honoured wines have been delicately blended by the experts of XXX France to sell in 11 XXX countries including France, Belgium, Poland, Russia, China and Japan.
Trophée Lyon Beaujolais Nouveau
The competition, established in 2001, is organized each year to award the best wines of the vintage as well as provide producers and wineries with additional recognition for their marketing activities. As the only official competition of the Beaujolais Nouveau acknowledged by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry (DGCCRF) since 2003, Trophée Lyon Beaujolais Nouveau has become a benchmark and an important tool in promoting Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau in France and abroad.

Source text - English Out-of-store delivery service rolled out to XXX China stores
After a successful pilot phase in 2010, XXX China has recently introduced the out-of-store delivery service in other stores, which was welcomed by many customers since it provides greater flexibility and saves valuable time.
“With the introduction of out-of-store delivery we can attract more new customers than through the traditional cash & carry business model”, says XXX China Operations Director Nigel Jones. The company is particularly focusing on caterers and restaurants with daily demand for premium products. At a competitive price, professional customers can place their order by telephone or fax and select from about 40,000 food and non-food products to be delivered directly to their business premises.
The canteen supervisor of the Nanjing GuWei garment Company has tried out the service the first time and is satisfied with this “easy but efficient” form of delivery: “We only have to send a fax and the following day we get our products in excellent fresh quality.” XXX China expects that other customers will appreciate the new service and hopes to drive up its overall business performance by 2012. Each store has appointed a special team of staff members who are responsible for the service and set up storage zones equipped with professional cargo platforms. These measures not only ensure the efficient processing of incoming orders and prompt delivery but also guarantee that HACCP compliance guidelines are met.
The systematic roll-out is planned in three phases. In 2010, the initiative was first piloted at Ningbo store. Other stores followed this summer and by the end of 2011 XXX China plans to introduce the delivery service in seven more stores.

My experience as a translator is based on translation jobs for different customers during my studies at Johannes Gutenberg University in Germersheim, one of Germany’s most renowned universities when it comes to translation studies. This was followed by employment as a project manager and translator at a large German translation agency. I then worked as Technical Support Analyst and translator for the IT department of the German Stock Exchange.
In summer 2011, I gave up this position to become a freelance translator.
Since then I have worked for clients from business and industry, private customers and consulting firms, doing translations in a variety of fields, such as HR, business, IT, finances, architecture, nutrition and recreation e.g. contracts, press releases, correspondence, management reports, various certificates (I am a sworn translator for Baden-Wuerttemberg), flyers, marketing, IT and financial texts, and many others.
I have translated over 800,000 words since 2011. Currently, my daily output is approximately 2,000 - 3,000 words, depending on text type.
