Bio
Five years ago, I arrived in the buzzing metropolis of Barcelona as a Spanish to English translator with several years’ translation experience, a rucksack stuffed with all the books I could carry and a worn-out notebook.
Since then I’ve racked up an additional four years’ experience in creative translation and medical translation for a world-leading translation agency.
While working as an in-house translator, I was promoted to Team Lead within nine months. For three years, I managed a team of eight translators based in Korea, Japan and the US.
I now work remotely as a writer and translator in Barcelona. I specialise in creative services and literary translation, and I hold a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Translation.
I’m also a published poet, with an array of poems featured in international anthologies.
