I am interested in a job opening as a freelance translator. I have been living in the USA for 11 years. I am fluent in English and consider English my first language. I am a native speaker of Russian and Ukrainian. I work as a freelance translator from English to Russian and from Russian to English for private clients and a research writer for a consulting company called the Livingston Research Group. I can write and translate articles from different areas of study including science, medicine, art and literature. I use TRADOS, Fluency, and Microsoft Word for the translation projects.

I have studied at a US college for the past few years and earned exemplary marks. During this time, I was working as a tutor and as a teacher's assistant. I have won a writing award "For Excelence in English as a Second Language" from Union County College, NJ. My articles were publushed in the college journal. I have a Master’s degree in Chemistry and Teaching from Donetsk National University, Donetsk Ukraine. I am also finishing my TESOL/TEFL teacher cerrtification from ITTT.

My rates are $ 0.05 – 0.07 per word and $ 20.00 per hour. However, these rates are negotiable.
