Translation - English This invention proposes a type of cathode for electrochemical machining of a screw pump metal stator, meant to solve the technical problem of the rubber stator of a screw pump ageing quickly. The technical case is built up of cathode body, front conductor, insulating cover, shape modification column, rear conductor and compression head. The working part of the cathode is built up of a helical cathode body with parabolically varying cross-sections and a replaceable shape modification column. The helical cathode body with parabolically varying cross-sections has a segment of flow-line shaped grooves that follow the helix angle direction, close to the fluid-adding grooves at the bottom working surface of the cathode. Using that cathode for machining a screw pump metal stator has solved the technical problem of the rubber stator of a screw pump ageing quickly.
