Bio
I'm a translator, language creative and performing artist from Greece, based in London. I hold a PhD in Cultural Studies (Humboldt University of Berlin) and a BA in Greek Philology and Linguistics (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens). I have also trained in acting, singing and dance and I hold an MA in Acting (East 15 Acting School, University of London) and a PGCert in Physical Theatre (Royal Holloway, University of London).
I have extensive experience in translation, localization of websites and transcreation for international marketing campaigns of major brands, as well as a growing involvement with audiovisual media (script adaptation, audio supervision, voice over). I have taught Greek and German for all levels and for Business, and since 2016 Music in various schools in London.
I have lived, studied and worked in Greece, Germany and the UK and I've been part of many creative projects both as a linguist and as an artist. The diversity of my influences allow me an excellent awareness of sociocultural subtleties in Text. I'm a dedicated life long learner, currently learning Japanese and Russian.
