English to Danish Translation and Marketing Copy
MEDICAL translation, adaptation and linguistic review
I translate, proofread and review SmPCs and labelling aimed at healthcare professionals, PILs and informed consent materials aimed at patients, IFUs for diagnostic equipment and lab equipment, patient records and research papers. Also within dentistry and veterinary medicine.
TECHNICAL translation, adaptation and linguistic review
In addition to life science, I translate, adapt, review, edit and proofread text within most other technical and scientific areas. Examples: tenders and quotes with technical documentation for engineering or IT projects, websites about consumer electronics and household appliances, brochures about safety equipment and PPE.
MARKETING – technical and non-technical language
I also translate, write and edit Danish copy, I proofread and review web text, newsletter articles, press releases, adverts, leaflets and brochures for the general public and for professionals. In addition to life science and other science areas, these texts may cover subjects such as education, climate changes, government, politics, culture and tourism.

CV Summary
I started working as a translator in 1990, after having graduated with an MA in EN-DA/DA-EN translation from Copenhagen Business School. From 1991 to 2002 I was employed in other jobs, including ten years in the UN, and then returned to translation in 2003. I worked part time as a translator from 2003 to 2006, and translation has been my full-time occupation since 2006.
