Obama, for All Time!

Obama, for All Time!
I’m pretty sure of myself; again we’re about going through a time of optimism for a while. Thank you Obama. During the time of an unforgettable election, you helped us to forget our slight worries, our disagreements within couple, our purchasing power on the decline, our overdrawn account. Thanks to you, our households as well as the planet were run through with general rejoicing; such a thing happened a long time ago. More precisely, since your predecessor decided to wage war on “the axis of evil”. Thanks to you, we have had some good times we would like to have remained engraved in our memory, it will work as our “old ladies mattress”, we can count on for the bad times: just a drop of cloud that block the horizon then crash! the magic of Barack!
With the Obama phenomenon, there’s indeed something that is beyond politics. A sort of blow from fate, a special time as part of history, a happy smile above our heads, a world we can trust in again. That relief has good reasons to be: a Black will rule over the greatest power in the world, in another word, the mental apartheid is over.
Actually it gives food for thought, doesn’t it? Come on French people! Let’s go, boys; we have to do like Uncle Sam, not be pinned down like someone bottom of his class. So that means, the “minorities” are making a clean sweep of everything, from politics to literature, a prefect here, a prizewinner there, a counting of dark-haired people on the white screen of television…What an overzealousness ! So much so that the proof is now given: in France, there were less positive and practical actions as regards a good treatment of people who live in the south. Putting your energy into it at a moment’s notice has the same effect with a ridicule advertisement.
Politicians, that’s enough now! Be good boys and don’t act rashly! Don’t be imitative, develop a personal strategy and give things a lot of thought. First, come round to nonsense like “the benefits of colonization”; don’t let the Blacks die on makeshift boats, award an Afghan the Goncourt is good but please help his compatriots who are shamefully requesting for the exile, the dark-skinned people hugging the wall for lack of identity papers, Mohamed the Beur, who’s blocked once his name is pronounced, the Muslim whose few beard on the chin gives you the creeps. Next, you’ll take time to deal with conspicuous appointments. But, I hope you’ll be kind enough to acknowledge that there are associations which, for ages, were making a great effort to draw your attention without your doing much; which just goes to show that, the means of pressure of France, do not lie in the ability of its non-trading company but in the copying of the foreign countries models.
Maalech! As Egyptians say. We are not going to be fussy. But we’re keen on saluting the future of Obama’s America and will happily go deeper into the American “resources coffer” maybe empty of its savings but now full of a priceless stock: that of justice and democracy.
