Italian to English: The relationship between posture and muscle-fascial structure

Translation - English
Luckily, the idea of the human body as a series of watertight compartments isolated from one another is slowly but surely dying out, both among health care professionals and in the common imagination.
In our body, there are no tissues, organs, muscles or systems that are disconnected from one other, regardless of their physical distance. Our entire body is made up of an incredible number of connections not only at the endocrine and neurological levels, but also at a structural level. Bones, muscles, internal organs, blood vessels and nerves are surrounded, permeated by and interconnected through connective tissue (which is called "connective" for a reason!).
If considered as a whole, this tissue is called fascia: it fills every space of our body and, like I mentioned above, connects everything, from head to toe. Imagine a single long robe, a large piece of fabric, a sort of suit that envelops us like our skin but internally, reaching every single element of our body. Another useful metaphor is that used by Dr. Rolf (Rolfing: the integration of human structure), who compares our body to an orange. Try visualizing an orange: it is encased in a rind and it contains around ten segments, each delimited by a membrane that separates them from the rind. But that's not all: the membrane is connected with no interruption to other membranes of the same type that in turn separate the single segments from one another. These membranes are in turn connected to other even smaller membranes that divide the segment in many individual juice-filled vesicles. Our body is structured just like that.

How often to apply XXX?
This is highly personal and is for you to discover for yourself. The application frequency ranges from two to seven days; the average is three days. Physical exercise and showering do not affect the frequency. Some people have a very active lifestyle, but only need XXX once every 6 days; others are less lucky and need to apply it every other day, even though they lead a more sedentary life. So, time to experiment and discover your ideal frequency!

Detox

Initially, you may experience some after-effects from your old deodorant or antiperspirant, because the ingredients in other deo’s tend to mess up your body’s perspiration system.
So your body may need some time to detox. For tips, XXX.

Translation - English
There are things that are delicious per se, but that are made even more so by how rarely we cross their path.
Zucchini flowers are an excellent example.
I saw some at the supermarket yesterday and they looked so cute, neatly displayed under a small plastic dome.
The guy said I should eat them within a day, so, for how silly it might seem, I bought only three and made up my mind to make an omelette.
So this was my dinner today:
I cut a piece of garlic in two and fried it in a bit of olive oil. Cleaned the zucchini flowers, tore their petals, sliced their chubby stems and threw them in the pan to fry.
In the meanwhile I finely chopped 4 mint leaves and 4 basil leaves and mixed them in a little bowl with 2 eggs, a pinch of salt, 2 teaspoons of grated Parmesan cheese and 2 teaspoons of breadcrumbs.
Once the flowers were cooked, I poured the eggs into the frying pan and in 2 minutes my omelette was ready.
So simple and so good.
Oh, the taste of the flowers! Their stems are so unique. Of course they taste a lot like a zucchini, but with a somewhat bitter aftertaste and a grassy fragrance that are hard to describe.
English to Italian: Occlusion in tracking applications
General field: Tech/Engineering
Detailed field: Engineering (general)
Source text - English
A common difficulty encountered in tracking applications is how to track an object that becomes totally occluded, possibly for a significant period of time. Another problem is how to associate objects, or tracklets, across non-overlapping cameras, or between observations of a moving sensor that switches fields of regard. A third problem is how to update appearance models for tracked objects over time. As opposed to using a comprehensive multi-object tracker that must simultaneously deal with these tracking challenges,we present a novel, modular framework that handles each of these problems in a unified manner by the initialization, tracking, and linking of high-confidence tracklets. In this track/suspend/match paradigm, we first analyze the scene to identify areas where tracked objects are likely to become occluded.

Bio

Welcome to my profile,

My name is Claudia and I am going to help you convey your message easily and clearly across borders.

I know a lot about language and communication.

I hold:

- a B.A. in Translation and Intercultural Competence

- an M.A. in European Linguistics

During my studies I have perfected my mastery of Italian and English and I have also studied German and French in depth.

Titles aside, my secret for providing top-notch services is that I love what I do and I only do what I love.

That is how I can provide that added value that will make YOU and your texts stand out.

I specialize in the following services:

- translation, transcreation and copywriting for the food sector and for the health sector

- proofreading of academic writing in English across various disciplines

Food and health are two fascinating topics that are tightly interwoven.

I specialize in publications and products that have to do with gastronomy, the pleasure of eating, taste and food culture, but also with well-being, nutrition, veganism and vegetarianism and keeping your body healthy and fit.

My second passion is proofreading academic texts.

If you are a professor or a PostDoc, you probably have read hundreds of academic articles that focused on an interesting topic, but were hard to follow, poorly structured and at times simply obscure.

If English is not your native language, you might need help to make your articles shine so that the value of your research can be appreciated across borders.

That is why I offer proofreading services tailored specifically to academic writers. I can make your texts not just mistake-free and grammatical, but also well-structured and to the point, so that they can convey their meaning easily and effortlessly.
