Source text - English The Rijksmuseum is the national museum of Dutch art and history. The collection spans eight centuries, from 1100 AD to the twenty-first century. The museum itself dates back over two centuries.
In 1798 the Bataafse Republiek administration, inspired by the French, decided to found a national museum. Two years later the National Art Gallery opened its doors in Huis ten Bosch palace, near The Hague. The collection consisted mainly of paintings and historical objects from the palaces of the stadtholder, declared state property after he had fled the country. Under the rule of Louis Napoleon (1806–10) the collection was extended and moved to Amsterdam City Hall on Dam Square, where he had decided he would live (the building is still a royal palace today). The most important works from the city’s collection (among them The Night Watch) were already there since 1715. In 1817 the art was shipped from the Rijks Museum, as it had come to be named, to the Trippenhuis on Kloveniersburgwal. Lack of space forced the nineteenth century art out, to a museum of ‘living masters’ in Haarlem, in 1838. The collection expanded at a fast rate thanks to gifts of private collectors such as Van der Hoop (1854), Dupper (1870) and Van de Poll (1880). The Trippenhuis grew too small.
In 1863 the first plans were drafted to build a new museum. A committee was installed and a design contest planned. The members of the committee quarrelled, and insufficient funding stranded later plans. After a decade of planning, committees and failing initiatives the authorities decided to lend a helping hand. The build costs of the museum were placed on a departmental budget and the city of Amsterdam supported the plans with a donation of 100,000 guilders. A location was found, just outside the city. On 12 July 1876 Pierre Cuypers was appointed as architect of the Rijksmuseum. He was known for the churches he had built. The intercession of professor Jozef Alberdingk Thijm, a well-known art theorist, helped to get him this prestigious commission.

Time is money – and there never seems to be enough of it. How do you make more time for yourself, your work and your family?
business guru shares his top seven tips on how to save time and avoid distractions, suggestions for technology that may help and examples of working practices designed to put you firmly back in control of the clock.
1. Go mobile
Smartphones give you the freedom to work anywhere and at any time. You’re no longer tied to the office or your computer to manage your workload. And, now there’s a whole array of business apps designed to help you be more productive and organised. Have a look for apps to speed up your expenses, manage invoicing and accounts, project collaboration tools, appointment scheduling, document sharing, holiday requests and more.
2. Ask yourself when are you most productive?
Just because the traditional working day is from 9 to 5 doesn’t mean it suits everyone. You may be at your most productive at 7am but for others it could be 4pm – or later – before you’re firing on all four cylinders. Recognising this and planning your working day and task list to fit your natural productivity patterns means you’ll use your time more efficiently and effectively.
3. Plan your day (to the minute)
First thing each morning, take 10 minutes to plan your day – it could save you hours each week. Have a plan of what tasks need doing, put a time limit on how long you have to accomplish each one and stick to it. Tasks will accommodate the time you give them – so give yourself a deadline and stick to it. You will be amazed at how much more you can get done in a working day.
4. Do the most important tasks first
It’s tempting to start with the tasks you like doing - the easiest, the most interesting, those that are fun – leaving the harder, more complex jobs for later. Try to rationalise what is most important to meet your goals and for your business and get these things underway first.
5. Rush the unimportant
Prioritising tasks gives you the freedom to apportion your time according to their importance. For tasks that are not business critical this means you can whip through them rapidly, knowing that even if you don’t give them 100% it will be of little consequence to the business.
6. Avoid multi-tasking
Multi-tasking is something we all juggle with, but will it help you meet your goals? It’s a false economy that often ends with revisiting work that is lacking because you didn’t give it your full attention. Try checking your emails only 3 times a day and turn off the new email alerts to stop distractions. During scheduled tasks (especially those which are most important) log out of email and turn switch off your mobile. Constant interruptions to your concentration are the biggest time waster - bar none.
7. Have a leaving time
Aim to get your to do list finished by a set leaving time and your productivity should rise to meet that deadline. Completing your ‘To Do List’ each day will give a sense of accomplishment and the energy to return tomorrow to complete a new set of tasks and challenges.
Finally, don’t panic! If you don’t manage to complete all tasks in a day, simply adjust your plans the next one. Keep focused on what is important and must be done and, equally, what can be ditched. Ask for help in disseminating tasks if needs be and remember saying ‘no’ to requests is an option.

1. Sfruttate la tecnologia "mobile"
Gli smartphone ci danno la libertà di lavorare ovunque e in qualsiasi momento. Non siamo più legati all'ambiente dell'ufficio o al computer per gestire il nostro lavoro. Inoltre, oggi abbiamo a disposizione tutta una serie di app aziendali progettate per aiutarci ad essere più produttivi e organizzati. Date un'occhiata alle app progettate per accelerare le note spese, gestire la fatturazione e la contabilità o da utilizzare come strumenti di collaborazione di progetto, per la programmazione degli appuntamenti, la condivisione dei documenti, le richieste di ferie e molto altro ancora.
2. Chiedetevi quand'è che siete più produttivi
Solo perché il tradizionale orario di lavoro giornaliero è dalle 9.00 alle 17.00, non significa che sia adatto a tutti. Product Description
Bone screws are available in Stainless Steel. The screws are available in various diameters and lengths.
How Supplied
The implants are provided non-sterile and should be stored in the original packaging until sterilized. Prior to use, each implant must be sterilized according to instructions in the “sterilization” section.
Indication for Use
Bone screws are intended for long and small bone fracture fixation.
Contraindications
Contraindications include, but are not limited to: presence of fever or infection(systemic or localized), pregnancy, severe osteopenia or any other medical or surgical condition which would preclude the potential benefit of implant surgery, patients with metal sensitivity or allergies to the implant materials, and patients unwilling or unable to follow post-operative care instructions.
Warnings
The implants are provided non-sterile. Prior to use, each implant must be sterilized according to directions provided. The implant is designed for single patient use only and must never be reused.
An explanted metal implant must never be reimplanted.
This device is not approved for attachment or fixation to the posterior elements (pedicles) of the cervical, thoracic or lumbar spine.
Dissimilar metal implants in contact with each other can accelerate the corrosion process due to galvanic corrosion effects. Thus mixing implant components from different manufacturers is not recommended for metallurgical, mechanical and functional reasons.

Potential Adverse Events
These devices can loosen, bend or break when subjected to increased loading associated with delayed union or nonunion. Internal fixation appliances are load sharing devices, which hold a fracture in alignment until healing occurs. If healing is delayed or does not occur, the implant could eventually break due to metal fatigue. Factors such as the patient’s weight, activity level and adherence to weight bearing or load bearing instructions, have an effect on the stresses to which the implant is subjected, and may affect the longevity of the implant. These warnings do not include all adverse effects, which could occur with surgery in general, but are important considerations particular to metallic internal fixation devices. Risks associated with general surgery and general anesthesia should be explained to the patient prior to surgery.
Precautions
The surgical implants are intended as aids to normal healing, but are not intended to replace normal body structures or bear the weight of the body in the presence of incomplete bone healing.
The following precautions should be considered for proper implant use:
Correct Selection of the implant is extremely important. Implant selection should be based upon the bone defect to be treated as well as the patient’s weight, height, occupation or degree of physical activity.
Proper handling of the implant before and during the operation is crucial. Contouring of metal implants should be avoided. Avoid sharp bends, reverse bending, notching or scratching the device, as these factors may produce internal stresses and weaken the implant.
Use appropriate drill to implant the screws.
Adequately instruct the patient. The patient should be advised about the advantaged and disadvantages of the implant and any postoperative limitations. The patient should be advised about weight bearing and load bearing stresses on the device, which could affect secure bone healing. The patient must be aware of the limitations of the implant and that physical activity and full weight bearing or load bearing stresses have been implicated in premature loosening, bending or fracture of internal fixation devices.
