Château Jemeppe ligt in Hargimont, een rustig plaatsje in de Belgische Ardennen tussen Namen
en Bastogne. Het kasteel is uitstekend bereikbaar. Het ligt op nog geen uur rijden van Brussel en de internationale luchthaven Zaventem.
• Jemeppe bestaat uit een historisch kasteel met een rijke geschiedenis. Het heeft een geriefelijke en romantische binnenplaats (Le Cour) en een boerenhoeve (La Ferme). Alles is teruggebracht in de authentieke staat en subtiel gecombineerd met hedendaagse luxe voorzieningen. Het geheel licht op een heuvelachtig landgoed van 65 ha.
• Het ontbreekt u hierbij aan niets: vergaderruimten voorzien van alle moderne electronica, een brasserie, restaurants, lounges, een eeuwenoude gewelvenkelder met exquise wijnen, sfeervolle herenkamers met open haarden, presentatie/theaterruimten, sauna en prachtige suites en slaapkamers. Château Jemeppe is in Hargimont,a peaceful village located between Namur and Bastogne in the Belgian Ardennes.The castle is easily reached.It is less than an hour’s drive from Brussels and the international airport at Zaventem.
• Jemeppe consists of an ancient castle with a rich history.It has a luxuriously romantic courtyard (‘Le Cour’) and farmhouse (‘La Ferme’).The buildings have been restored to their original style,subtly combined with contemporary luxury and modern amenities.This all lies on a hilly estate of some 160 acres.
• Here there is everything you could wish for: meeting rooms equipped with the latest electronics,a brasserie,restaurants,lounges , a centuries old vault with exquisite wines,elegant libraries with open fireplaces,auditoria/theatres,sauna and wonderful suites and bedrooms.Château Jemeppe even has its own chapel!

• If you prefer to arrive by helicopter, landing facilities are available.It is also possible to enjoy a hot-air balloon flight taking off from Jemeppe to explore the historic surroundings from the air.

I was born (24-01-1946 Birmingham) and bred (I grew up in Leicester) in England and read chemistry at King’s College London where I obtained a B.Sc. and Ph.D.(1970).
Ik ben in augustus 1972 getrouwd met een nederlandse en woon en werk sinds oktober 1972 in Nederland.Mijn werk is in plant management/operations geweest met verantwoordelijkheden in onder anderen,process technieken,kwaliteitssystemen,arbo en logistiek.Twee jaar geleden ben ik met vervroegd pensioen gegaan en ik doe wat adviseur/consulting/freelance werk.
I have 12 months experience as a freelance translator and in 2009 I qualified as a TEFL (teach English as a foreign language) teacher.In 2010 I started working as a freelancer for Eurocom teaching “ English Conversation”. Through the years prior to 2009 I have translated many documents/letters/reports etc., mainly during my jobs as plant manager or operations director or as a favour for family/friends. I do not have any CAT translation software but I am interested to do “nederlands-engels” translation work for you.
