As an illustrator my background gives me a unique insight into fashion. After spending five years studying fine arts in Paris, I worked as a communication consultant for many leading fashion designers.
In 2004 I moved to London to set up getconfused - a company which offers consultancy and creative solutions to clients from all around the world.
I began producing illustrations as a favour to friends in the fashion industry who needed them for lookbooks, magazines and websites. On the trail of those I started to receive press interest and these days I create imagery for publications spanning both the independent and mainstream press.
I've have also recently started producing a small collection of scarves, forget-me-not, which will be available soon online and in shops all around the world
I find inspiration in a wide variety of places. Living between Paris and London I feel at ease with the visual landscapes of both cities. As art and fashion capitals, they are a byword for innovation, creativity and metropolitan edge.
I tend to start my work by experimenting with old-school processes such as painting, drawing and ceramics, before designing the final image digitally.
I like to mix several techniques but aim for restraint and minimalism in the finished work as I like the results achieved from combining these two approa

وأنتج أيضًا رسومات لكل من ورق الحائط والزخارف وهو أحدث ما أقوم به.
استمد الإلهام من مجموعة الأماكن الكبيرة والمتنوعة، إن حياتي بين باريس ولندن جعلتني أشعر بالراحة وسط المناظر الطبيعة لتلك المدينتين. وباعتبارهما عاصمتين للفنون والأزياء، فهما مضرباُ للمثل في مجال الابتكار والإبداع والتطور العصري.
ومنذ الأيام الأولى في الدراسة، فقد بدأت أكتسب خبرات مثل التلوين والرسم والزخرفة ثم بدأت في تجميع العمل النهائي ببرنامج فوتوشوب (photoshop)
كما أفضل الخلط بين العديد من التقنيات ولكن بهدف التقيد والفن التجريدي عند إنهاء العمل. ولهذا فإني أفضل النتائج النهائية الناتجة عن الجميع بين كلا النظريتين.

“Afro-Source”: Syria is continuing the preparation for the Arab summit, at the end of March, under the wings of coming crises in Damascus. The majority of Arabs opposing the Damascus policy, which it allies the Iranian ambition.
Syrian leadership is persistence in continuing its supports to the resistance factions in Lebanon and Palestine. The majority of Arabs considers those factions as a power of terrorism or de-unionism from the Arabic system.
In the same time, high-ranking Syrian diplomat said “Since when is the whole of the Arab league Summit linked to what is happening in one of its Member States”. This is a Syrian indication refers to long time existence of the Arabs disagreements and what is happening on the Arab arena and the intention of some States to boycott just for the interests of others.
The Syrian- Iranian alliance is not different from some Arab Gulf’s role, which is enhancing the relationship with Iran in spite of Iranian occupation of Emirates’ island .. so why is just Syria?
Qatari Al-Jazeera Channel possesses the keys to the Arabs media. Will it maintain its neutrality in this summit? Or will it become jihadist factions as an alternative to the Arab public opinion?
How will the Qatari government direct Al-Jazeera in accordance to its political agenda in the region under the name of the independent media?
How will the Arabian summit deal with it’s unknown fate of the following files:

Source text - Arabic جنوب أفريقيا على الأجندة العربية

يبدو أن العرب أخذوا ينتبهوا ـ أخيراً ـ إلى أن خارطة العالم تتعدى المساحة المحصورة بين المحيط والخليج، وأن أمن الدول ومحيطها الحيوي ومصالحها التاريخية والثقافية والسياسية والاقتصادية كل ذلك لا ينتهي عند الحدود السياسية المصطنعة. لفت الانتباه إلى ذلك ما أعلنه الأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية بأن الجامعة تعتزم فتح بعثة دبلوماسية لها في جنوب أفريقيا قريباً، بهدف تعزيز الوجود العربي في الدولة الجنوبية الهامة، وتعزيز التنسيق والتشاور بين الجامعة ـ كممثلة للعرب ـ وحكومة جنوب أفريقيا.
وبعد توقيعه مذكرة تفاهم بهذا الشأن مع وزيرة خارجية جنوب أفريقيا، أكد عمرو موسى الحرص العربي على تعزيز التعون مع جنوب أفريقيا في شتى المجالات، خاصة وأنها من الدول الرئيسة ليس على المستوى الأفريقي فحسب بل وعلى المستوى الدولي. واصفاً سياسية بريتوريا بأنها متزنة وعادلة وتدعم حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني، كما تدعم الموقف العربي فيما يخص قضايا الشرق الأوسط.
وتأتي العلاقات العربية مع جنوب أفريقيا في إطار العلاقات العربية الأفريقية عامة، وحقيقة فإن المتأمل لمسيرة ما يسمى بالدبلوماسية العربية الحالية يلحظ اهتماماً بدول القارة الأفريقية، خاصة أن الأمن القومي العربي مرتبط ارتباطاً عضوياً بالأمن القومي الأفريقي، وكلاهما يمثل عمقاً للآخر، إلا أن الفشل العربي في الاستفادة الحقيقية من الروابط الثقافية والتاريخية والعقائدية والهم المشترك مع شعوب القارة الأفريقية بشكل عام، انعكس ـ بما لا يدع مجالاً للشك ـ على أهم دوله.
وإذا كانت أفريقيا هي القارة المقهورة بين قارات العالم فقد تزايد الاهتمام بها بشكل ملحوظ في الآونة الأخيرة، خصوصاً جنوب الصحراء، بالإضافة إلى شرق القارة وغربها. حيث تتنافس القوى الكبرى ـ الولايات المتحدة وفرنسا والصين ـ على تعزيز مواقعها في أنحاء القارة الواعدة بثرواتها الكامنة والرابضة في غاباتها وصحاريها.
وتلعب جنوب أفريقيا بشكل خاص دور القيادة في الإقليم الجنوبي من أفريقيا والريادة في كل أنحاء القارة السوداء، ودائماً ما توصف بأنها نتاج العقل الغربي بل وتكاد تكون بقعة منه، حيث لم تعد إلى أصلها الأفريقي الأصيل إلا بعد سقوط النظام العنصري فيها، والإفراج عن المناضل الوطني نلسون مانديلا. كما ينظر لجنوب أفريقيا على أنها دولة ذات حضور معتبر على الساحة الدولية، وعلى المستوى الأفريقي فإنها حاضرة وبقوة إزاء ملفات هامة ومصيرية بالنسبة للعالم العربي، على رأسها : دارفور وجنوب السودان وتشاد والصومال، فضلاً عن قضايا العراق وفلسطين ولبنان.. كل ذلك إلى جانب تأثيرها بقضايا القارة الكبرى مثل النزاعات والفقر والاستغلال الخارجي، ومن ثم فمن الحماقة تجاهلها أو على الأقل نسيان أهمية التنسيق معها.
وليس سراً أن لجنوب أفريقيا ـ الدولة التي تتواجد فيها أكبر جالية يهودية في القارة السمراء ـ مواقفها الداعمة للحقوق الفلسطينية في المحافل الدولية، وهي مواقف تاريخية مثلت ما يشبه الانقلاب على العلاقات القوية التي كانت تربط نظام الفصل العنصري بإسرائيل التي سعت ولازالت إلى نقل اليهود الأفارقة إليها، وهي العلاقة نفسها التي ساهمت في وقوف دول القارة الأفريقية جمعاء إلى جانب العرب في صراعهم الأساس.
إلا أنه ورغم قدم وعمق العلاقات العربية الجنوب أفريقية فإن عدداً من الخلافات والمصالح المتباينة تكاد تطفو على السطح ـ من حين لآخر ـ بين الجهتين. ومن أهم قضايا الخلاف حالياً يأتي الموقف المتباين من توسيع مجلس الأمن الدولي، حيث تزاحم بريتوريا بشدة لكي يكون لها المقعد الأفريقي الدائم في المجلس.. وهي في ذلك تخوض صراعاً سياسياً ودبلوماسيا ضد كل من مصر والمغرب وليبيا. كما يسجل المتابعون لجنوب أفريقيا استحواذها على جزء كبير من رصيد مصر الأفريقي وشقيقاتها من دول شمال القارة، فإليها ذهبت استضافة مباريات كأس العالم لكرة القدم، ولها كان المقعد الدائم في مجلس محافظي "الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية" بعد أن شغلته مصر إلى ما يقرب من عشرين عاماً، وعلى أراضيها يوجد مقر البرلمان الأفريقي.
وكل ذلك خصم من الدور التاريخي والتحرري لمصر في أنحاء أفريقيا، كما أنه يعني أيضاً من جهة أخرى تركيز الدور التنموي داخل أفريقيا على الجمهورية الجنوبية وحدها، فضلاً عن النظر إلى العرب الأفارقة على أنهم تجمع له خصوصية لا تعبر بالضرورة عن شخصية القارة السوداء كلها.
وخلال استقباله لوزيرة خارجية جنوب أفريقيا، صرح وزير الخارجية المصري أحمد أبوالغيط بأن العلاقات بين بلاده وجنوب أفريقيا، تجعل منهما قطبين مهمين في القارة، يشكلان عمودا فقريا أقتصاديا وسياسياً لأفريقيا. في حين قالت (دلاميني زوما) ـ التي أبدت اهتمامها بالتعرف على التطورات التي تشهدها القضية الفلسطينية وخاصة في ضوء ما حدث بقطاع غزة والحالة الإنسانية التي عانى منها السكان هناك وتدفقهم على مصر ـ قالت إنها تبذل مساع متنوعة لتحقيق حل سلمى للأزمة اللبنانية، وحول موقف جنوب أفريقيا من الاقتراح بتوسيع مجلس الأمن الدولى، قالت زوما إنه عندما تبدأ المفاوضات فى هذا الشأن فإن جنوب أفريقيا تتمسك بالمطالب الأفريقية المعروفة.
Translation - English South Africa in the Arabic agenda

It seems that the Arabs have finally become aware of the fact that the world’s map is beyond the confined space between the Pacific and the Gulf. The countries’ securities, vital interests, historical, cultural, political or economic are not bounded to artificial political boundaries.
This attention was noted when the Secretary General of the League of Arab States Amr Moussa announced the plans to open a diplomatic mission in South Africa soon, with the aim of strengthening the Arab presence in the Southern hemisphere, and enhancing coordination and consultation between the representative of the Arab League and the Government of South Africa.
After signing a memorandum of understanding in this regard with the South African Foreign minister, Amr Moussa stressed the Arab’s keenness to enhance Cooperation with South Africa in various fields, because South Africa is one of the main players not only at African level but also at the global level. They described Pretoria’s role (the political capital) as balanced and fair in supporting the Palestinian peoples rights.
South Africa also supports the Arab position with respect to Middle East issues.
The observers to the so-called Arabs diplomacy will notice there is an increasing interest in the Arab-African relations. Specially because the Arabian Homeland Security joined physically to the African homeland security and both of them are as profundity of each other
Nevertheless the Arabs failure to utilize the real cultural ties, historical, and the common ideological concerns with the African continent, has also reflected to the most important country in the African continent.
The African Continent was the most oppressed continents in the world, but it has been increasingly under focus especially on the sub Saharan countries, the East and the West of the continent, where the competition between the greatest powers (United States, France and China) who are consolidating their position all over the continent, which has latent wealth resting in its forests and deserts
South Africa plays a special leadership role in the southern region of Africa and pioneers all over the African (Black) continent. It was described as a results of the Western mentality which no longer belong to the African origin until after its racist regime had fallen and the struggling national Nelson Mandela was released. As consideration for South Africa as a country with significant presence in the international area, and strong presence all over the African levels, with regard to an important fateful files related to the Arab world on its top: Darfur and southern Sudan, Chad, Somalia, as well as the issues of Iraq and Palestine and Lebanon. All of this in addition to their continent's major issues, such as conflicts and poverty and outer exploitation. Therefore it will be a stupid to ignore, or at least forget the importance of coordinating between them.
It is no secret that the South African State, which has the largest Jewish community in the African continent – has stances for consolidating the Palestinian rights in international arena; their historic stances represented as a similar to coup to the strong relations joined the apartheid regime in Israel who are seeking to transfer African Jews to it. It is the same relation, which was contributed to make all African countries stand by Arabs in their main struggle.
However, in spite the depth of the South African-Arab relations, a number of conflicts and differing interests are almost floating on the surface from time to time between the two sides. One of the most important controversial issues currently comes the differing stance on the UN Security Councils expansion; where Pretoria strongly competed to have a permanent African seat on the Council. By that it is plunging into political and diplomatic conflict against Egypt, Morocco and Libya. The close watchers to the South Africa record and its possession of a large part of Egyptian- African balance and its sisters from countries of north continent. It has had the hosting of World Cup Soccer, and has had a permanent seat on the Board of Governors "International Atomic Energy Agency" after the last occupied by Egypt to almost twenty years, and the African Parliament is placed on its land.
All this decreases from the Egyptian liberal and historic role all over Africa. On the other hand, it also means focusing on developmental role within the Republic of South Africa alone. Bearing in mind that the African Arabs are considered as a community, which has it, won privacy, and not necessarily representing the whole African continent character.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmad Abu-al-Ghayt declared- during his reception for South Africa Foreign Minister- that relations between his country and South Africa are two important poles in the continent, also there is an economic and political vertebral column for Africa. While Dlamini-Zuma stressed her interest in the known developments of the Palestinian issue, specially in the light of what has happened in the Gaza Strip and the humanitarian situation which was suffered by the people there and their influx onto Egypt- that she efforts hardly to achieve a peaceful solution for Lebanese crisis. And about South Africa’s stance of the proposal to expanse UN Security Council; Zuma said that when negotiations begin in this mater, South Africa will be sticking to Africa’s’ demands.
