Source text - Portuguese Já é conhecida a capacidade de regeneração do tecido muscular esquelético através das células satélites, porém, na ocasião de uma lesão muscular, não se sabe exatamente em que grau ocorre esta regeneração, os fatores de que depende e como otimizá-la. Levando em consideração a grande importância destas lesões para os atletas, este assunto necessita de elucidações. Este trabalho é uma tentativa de contribuir com dados científicos e acoplar informações que possam enriquecer os estudos do tecido em questão e, portanto influenciar em novas idéias e inclusive em futuras medidas terapêuticas. Foram utilizados os parâmetros de um modelo de lesão muscular não invasivo para a produção de um equipamento que reproduz um trauma no rato semelhante à paulistinha no futebol, que ocorre com bastante freqüência nas atividades esportivas em geral. O equipamento que realiza a contusão é composto por um peso de 171g que fica imantado a 102 cm de altura e cai sobre um impactador de 30g que possui uma ponta esférica de 6.4 mm de raio que fica em contato direto com a pele do animal. O rato é posicionado em decúbito dorsal, com a pata traseira direita em rotação externa de aproximadamente 40º e dorsiflexão a 90º. As análises histopatológicas foram realizadas nos tempos 0,3,7 e 23 dias após a lesão para a análise do início até a conclusão da reparação tecidual. As lâminas foram preparadas com corantes específicos para a visualização de tecido muscular e tecido fibrótico e da lâmina basal. Este tipo de análise envolve muitas minúcias metodológicas, o que dificulta a obtenção de resultados fidedignos. Necessita-se, portanto de maiores investimentos em estudos do tecido muscular esquelético em seus aspectos pós-traumáticos para que seja possível empregar tratamentos concretos em benefício dos pacientes, em especial a classe dos atletas.
Translation - English It is already known the capacity of regeneration of the skeleton muscle tissue through satellite cells, although, in the occasion of a muscle lesion, it is still not known exactly how this regeneration occurs, the factors it depends on and how to optimize it. Considering the great importance of these lesions on athletes, this subject needs some elucidations. This work is an attempt to contribute with scientific data and to gather information which might enrich the studies on this specific tissue and therefore influencing new ideas, including future therapeutic measures. It was used not invasive model parameters in muscle lesion to the production of an equipment which reproduces in rats a similar trauma to one known as “paulistinha” in soccer, which occurs frequently in general sportive activities. The equipment which realizes the concussion is composed by a 171g weight which is magnetized on a 102 cm height and falls over a 30g impactor which has a spherical end of 6.4 mm of ray under direct contact to the animal skin. The rat is positioned in upside down, with its right back paw in a 40° external rotation and a 90° back torsion. The histopathology analyses were performed at the times 0, 3, 7 and 23 days after the lesion for the initial analysis up to the tissue repairing conclusion. The plates were prepared with specific coloring to visualize the muscle tissue and the fiber tissue and the basal plate. This kind of analysis evolves many methodological details, which makes it harder to obtain accurate results. It is needed therefore major investments in skeleton muscle tissue in it is post-trauma effects so it may be possible to apply concrete treatments in benefit of patients, in special the athletes category.

O tratamento endovascular de aneurismas intracranianos com espirais destacáveis estabeleceu-se como principal opção terapêutica na maioria dos pacientes, por menores taxas de morbidade e mortalidade. De forma geral, os pacientes são tratados sob anestesia geral, pela necessidade de imobilidade. Objetivo: Avaliar a viabilidade do tratamento endovascular de aneurismas intracranianos em pacientes no estado de vigília. Métodos: Cinco aneurismas foram tratados em 4 pacientes selecionados, considerando-se quadro clínico, a intenção de colaboração do paciente e características morfológicas do aneurisma. Resultados: A abordagem proposta foi possível em quatro dos cinco casos. O paciente 1 obteve compactação parcial do aneurisma, pois o tratamento foi interrompido por desconforto vesical. O paciente 2 apresentou HSA por re-ruptura do aneurisma, e o tratamento foi completado no mesmo tempo sob anestesia geral. Nos demais casos, não houve intercorrências. Conclusões: O tratamento endovascular de aneurismas intracranianos em pacientes no estado de vigília é viável em grupo selecionado de pacientes.

Translation - English ABSTRACT
Endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms with coil embolisation became the most important therapeutic option, with better morbimortality rates and quality of life. Following immobility, patients are treated with general anesthesia. Objective: To test viability of endovascular treatment in wake patients. Methods: Considering clinical symptoms, psychological characteristics, and aneurismal morphology four patients with five intracranial aneurysms were selected. Results: Four betwen five cases were completed with this technique. Patient 1 were partially treated after 75 minutes presenting vesical discomfort. Patient 2 presented SAH after aneurismal re-rupture, and the procedure were completed under general anesthesia. Others 3 were uneventful endovascular treatment. Conclusion: Endovascular treatment of wake patients with intracranial aneurysm is possible in a select group.
