Translating academic work (predominantly Social Sciences) for over five years and writing, translating and editing news articles (paper and internet) for almost 10 years.

Clients include mid-size international firms, news magazines (some with 50,000+ quarterly circulation) and news websites.

Native English speaker with BSc in Psychology from Leiden University (Netherlands). For my research I translated a version of a scientific questionnaire based on the Ajzen and Fishbein attitudes model. Icek Ajzen's Theory of Planned behaviour predicts human behaviour based on measurements of attitudes. The model and different versions of the questionnaire have been used by major oil companies, large industrial organizations and the Dutch Department of Defense.

Translations up to 5000 words: 5 ct per word. Rates for larger translations depend on subject matter and available time.
