1. The Installation work shall comply with requirements specified herein, the relevant drawings and requirements of the applicable safety codes or regulations of the locality. Any conflicts or questions found among this specification, the drawings and others shall be referred to Rekayasa for resolution. In case vendor’s installation or erection manual is provided, the vendor’s manual shall have the first priority.

2. Instruments and tools to be used in leveling and alignment shall satisfy the conditions shown in Table 1. Other special instruments and tools shall be used as the occasion calls.

3.0 PREPARATION FOR INSTALLATION

Prior to starting the work, the following shall be confirmed satisfactorily.

3.1. Concrete Foundation
1. The following conditions of the concrete foundation shall be checked against the relevant drawings:
a. Whether center line is marked.
b. Accuracy of height and whether elevation line is marked.
c. Dimensions.
d. Curing time.
e. Coordinate.

2. The top of the concrete foundation shall be lower than the finished height by the grout thickness indicated on foundation drawings.

3. Flatness and level shall be checked at the points where pad sand, padding plate/liners are to be installed.

4. Curing time of the grout material used for padding plate/liner installation shall be obtained from its manufacturer instruction before equipment is placed.

5. The surface of the concrete foundation shall be checked to make sure that it is chipped until top of concrete (TOC) as specified in civil foundation drawing and cleaned for grouting.

3.2. Anchor Bolts

1. The following conditions of the anchor bolts embedded in the foundation shall be checked against the drawing or with a steel template for the major equipment:

a. Position Tolerance shall be ± 1.5 mm from the dimension indicated on the related equipment drawing.


b. Projection The projection of the bolts above the foundation surface shall be of proper length relative to the final level of the foundation finish.


c. Inclination Bolts shall be perpendicular to the foundation to fit the equipment base plate smoothly.


d. Condition Threaded parts shall
of bolts be completely
and nuts coated with grease
or machine oil to allow the nuts be unscrewed smoothly.

2. Anchor bolts with pipe sleeves to allow adjustment of the final positioning of the bolt shall be checked with the following:


a. Position Anchor bolts shall be accurately located as shown on the relevant equipment drawing.


b. Projection The projection of the bolts above the foundation surface shall be of proper length relative to the final level of the foundation finish.


c. Condition Threaded parts shall

or machine oil to allow the nuts be unscrewed smoothly.

d. Sleeve Unless otherwise specified in the instruction manual, pipe sleeves shall be approximately 50 mm larger in diameter than the anchor bolt.

3. When anchor holes are used for anchor bolts, the anchor bolts shall be installed in the anchor holes after the equipment is temporarily placed in the right position.

4. After the grouted mortar has sufficiently hardened, leveling work shall be commenced.

3.3. Condition and Protection Equipment

1. Unpacking shall be performed under witness of Rekayasa’s supervisor. All spare parts and dismantling tools, etc., shall be repacked and returned to the warehouse as instructed by Rekayasa’s supervisor.


Delicate parts, such as levels oilers, capillary tubes, etc., shall be removed in accordance with the instructions of Rekayasa’s Supervisor. The removed parts shall be stored and maintained in the warehouse properly.

2. After being thoroughly inspected, the equipment shall be transported to the job site.

3. The condition of the machined surfaces shall be checked, and if necessary, the machined surfaces shall be coated properly with a suitable rust preventative.

4. Temporary covers on all openings shall be tightened firmly and shall not be removed during installation until the related pipelines are to be connected thereto.



5. The bottom face of the base plate shall be cleaned. When oil, grease, dirt, or any loose particles are found, it shall be washed off by water or other suitable solvents before installation.


6. Coupled equipment shall be uncoupled and left uncoupled until the no load test for the driver is finished. Coupling elements with clear identifications shall be stored properly in warehouse.

3.0 PERSIAPAN UNTUK PEMASANGAN

Sebelum memulai pekerjaan, hal berikut harus dikonfirmasi dengan benar.

3.1 Pondasi Beton
1. Kondisi dari pondasi beton berikut ini harus diperiksa terhadap gambar yang terkait:
a. Apakah garis tengah sudah ditandai.
b. Akurasi dari ketinggian dan apakah garis elevasi sudah ditandai.
c. Ukuran.
d. Waktu curing.
e. Koordinat.

2. Permukaan atas pondasi beton harus lebih rendah daripada ketinggian akhir dengan ketebalan grout yang diindikasikan dalam gambar pondasi.

3. Kerataan dan elevasi harus diperiksa pada titik di mana pad sand, padding plate/liner akan dipasang.


4. Waktu curing material grout yang digunakan untuk memasang padding plate/liner harus diperoleh dari instruksi pabrikannya sebelum peralatan diletakkan.

b. Proyeksi Proyeksi baut diatas permukaan pondasi harus memiliki jarak/panjang yang tepat relatif terhadap elevasi akhir dari lapisan akhir pondasi.

c. Inklinasi Baut harus tegak lurus terhadap pondasi untuk dapat memasang base plate peralatan dengan lancar.

d. Kondisi Part yang berulir
baut dan harus dilapisi
mur seluruhnya dengan
grease atau minyak mesin agar mur dapat dilepas dengan mudah.

2. Baut angkur dengan pipe sleeves untuk memungkinkan penyetelan posisi akhir baut tersebut harus diperiksa dengan yang disebutkan di bawah ini:

a. Posisi Baut angkur harus ditempatkan secara akurat seperti ditunjukkan dalam gambar peralatan yang terkait.

b. Proyeksi Proyeksi baut diatas permukaan pondasi harus memiliki jarak/panjang yang tepat relatif terhadap elevasi akhir dari lapisan akhir pondasi.

c. Kondisi Bagian yang berulir
baut dan harus dilapisi
mur seluruhnya dengan
grease atau minyak mesin agar mur dapat dilepas dengan mudah.

d. Sleeve Kecuali ditentukan lain dalam manual instruksi, diameter pipe sleeves harus kurang lebih 50 mm lebih besar dari baut angkur.


3. Pada saat lubang angkur digunakan untuk baut angkur, maka baut angkur tersebut harus dipasang pada lubang angkur setelah peralatan diletakkan sementara pada posisi yang tepat.

4. Setelah mortar yang di-grout sudah cukup keras, pekerjaan leveling harus dimulai.

3.3 Kondisi dan Perlindungan Peralatan

1. Pembongkaran kemasan harus dilakukan di bawah pengawasan supervisor Rekayasa. Seluruh spare parts, alat pembongkar dan sebagainya, harus dikemas ulang dan dikembalikan ke gudang seperti diinstruksikan oleh supervisor Rekayasa.

Bagian peralatan yang riskan, seperti levels oilers, capillary tubes dan sebagainya harus dilepas sesuai dengan instruksi dari supervisor Rekayasa. Bagian yang dapat dilepas tersebut harus disimpan dan dirawat di dalam gudang dengan baik.

2. Setelah dilakukan inspeksi secara menyeluruh, peralatan tersebut harus dikirim ke lapangan.

3. Kondisi dari permukaan yang dimesin harus diperiksa, dan jika dibutuhkan, permukaan yang dimesin tersebut harus dilapisi dengan pencegah karat yang sesuai.

4. Penutup sementara pada semua lubang yang ada pada peralatan harus dikencangkan dengan kuat dan tidak boleh dilepas selama pemasangan sampai jaringan pipa terkait akan disambungkan ke lubang tersebut.

5. Permukaan bawah base plate harus dibersihkan. Apabila minyak, grease, kotoran, atau serpihan lainnya ditemukan, maka permukaan tersebut harus dicuci dengan air atau pelarut lain yang cocok sebelum proses pemasangan.

6. Peralatan yang terkopel harus dilepaskan dan dibiarkan terlepas sampai pengujian tanpa beban untuk penggerak selesai dilakukan. Elemen kopling dengan identifikasi yang jelas harus disimpan dengan benar di dalam gudang.
