Hi,

I am a freelance translator with 15+ years of experience in the following language pairs:

- Persian / Farsi > English
- English > Farsi / Persian
- German > Farsi / Persian
- Farsi / Persian > German

I have translated a variety of texts from English and German into Farsi / Persian and vice versa and I have them uploaded in my Google Drive ( from simple texts like birth certificates/ marriage and divorce certificates,University transcripts to complicated texts ( professional fields / Fachgebiete )

I have a Bachelors degree from Tehran Azad University in German translation (Übersetzung von der Deutschen Sprache ) and a Junior and a Senior proficiency certificate from the ILI ( Iran Language Institute) .

Now, when translating into Persian or vice versa, I am better in terminology, because I know the roots of Farsi, as I was born in a Zoroastrian family (Where everyone spoke Dari and this is totally different from the Dari spoken in Afghanistan) and have a tendency to use much more pure Persian words instead of Arabic equivalents, which is the current trend that rules the Farsi language specially when thought to be much more luxurious.

I am totally against giving an Arabic flavor to the language, when you have Persian equivalents. I understand the part, when it come to Loan Words, but I don't understand the necessity of amalgamating the language with Arabic, when a pure Persian equivalent is handy. It's not luxurious at all. It brings about some sort of an alienation ( Verfremdung ) .
