Source text - English There are only a few things in the world, that are absolutely new and unique, most of the everyday thoughts, ideas and solutions are just reinventions. With the IT-tools and expended horizons, 21st century can offer the rebirth of cemented services, products and solutions, where the reincarnation is due to the higher ease of use and innovation.
The three products mentioned in the title are only a short abstract from the long sequence which can be described with the words “renewed old”. There’s nothing extraordinary about digitally signing the papers with the help of a mobile phone. There’s also nothing exceptional of the fact that regular people can provide taxi service because of Uber and there’s clearly nothing special about communicating with the bank through a video call without leaving your desk or bed. All of this could be done before the new solutions.
We should value the fact on how video baking, digital signage and Uber changed the sector radically and permanently. These services didn’t create anything unique or new, but they still managed to change the mechanism of our actions. It’s all about the innovation and the opportunity to demand and expect a better, faster and more time-saving solution.
Translation - Norwegian Det finnes få ting i verden som virkelig er nye og unike, de fleste hverdagstanker, ideer og løsninger kan betraktes som nyskapninger. Med IT-verktøy og utvidede utsikter kan det 21. århundre tilby fornyelser av etablerte tjenester, takket være anvendelighet og innovasjon.
De tre produktene som er nevnt i tittelen er bare utdrag fra en lang sekvens som kan beskrives med ordet “gjenskaping”. Det er ingenting som er ekstraordinært ved digital signering av papirer på en mobiltelefon. Det er heller ingenting som er eksepsjonelt ved at vanlige folk kan tilby drosjetjenester over Uber, og det er klart at det ikke er så spesielt å kunne kommunisere med banken via videoanrop uten å forlate egen skrivepult eller seng. Alt dette var i utgangspunktet mulig før.
Vi bør sette pris på hvor radikalt videobanktjenester, digital signering og Uber har endret sektoren for all tid. Disse tjenestene skapte aldri noe unikt eller nytt, men de klarte fortsatt å endre selve mekanismen av handlingene våre. Bio
I have been working as a freelance translator with Norwegian and English since 2009. My skills as a translator
are natural to me as I have been raised with both Norwegian as my mother tongue and English in schools
throughout my youth. I have moved around the world lot throughout my younger years and attended a lot of English speaking
international schools which have stimulated my desire and skill in terms of understanding the mechanics of
languages, the variation of cultures and my adaptability thereof. Language related arts have become my
strongest academic areas and I have successfully built my own company, Budal TransFast – as an organic result
of who I am.
I am keen on literature; and read and write literature in both Norwegian and English.
Clients and people I have shared projects with recognize me as a very focused and effective translator. It has
been noted that I have never delivered a translation overdue and that I am always thorough and keen on
follow-up communications with my clients and partners to ensure the project at hands meets quality
expectations, and even exceed them. When I have an affiliation with a client I am always at hand to translate
