I am a native Romanian speaker with a passion for English and French ever since my childhood. Certain of the fact that one of the best ways to master a foreign language is to communicate with native speakers, I have lived and studied in France for a year and a half and I am now living in United Kingdom.

My field of expertise is related to marketing, advertising and public relations, as these are the subjects I was awarded for when I completed my education and training. As a Communication Assistant for the French National Institute for Agricultural Research, my main responsibilities included conducting a media impact study, assisting in editing the internal newsletter and the English booklet of the institute. Therefore, I gained experience with scientific terms from the agricultural field, food and nutrition and environment.

I also have experience with Internet and website terminology as result of a collaboration with Clarisse Vitel Consultants, for which I realized a benchmarking study and offered web development specifications.

For a period of 4 years, I was an active member of an international PR association. During this time, I have often contributed to the organisation of numerous events (congresses, workshops, conferences, summer schools) which involved translation and edition of written materials (newsletters, event presentation booklets, press portfolios etc.).

I am committed to accuracy in my translations; therefore I do research work whenever I feel it is necessary and try to keep myself up to date with events that have a connection with my field of interest.
