Translation - English In 1900, a group of Chinese rebels revolted against Westerners, including Christian missionaries and their converts. The rebels were named 'Boxers' because of the name of their secret society, “The Righteous and Harmonious Fists.” A year later, the rebellion was crushed by an international military force.

I currently work as an in-house translator and editor for Erasmus University Library, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. My translation experience covers educational and informative (library-related) texts as well as general texts. Editing experience includes movie scripts, children's stories, academic and general texts. I'm also interested in translating texts dealing with Christian theology, as that is something I'm fascinated with.
