Bio
I served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Thailand from 2002-2004. I completed Peace Corps' intensive language training and then continued with language study (speaking and reading/writing) throughout my service. I used Thai language 24/7 in my work and daily life, both of which necessarily included regular translating and interpreting. At the end of my service I was tested and certified as fluent by an ETS tester (contracted by the U.S. Government). I also became "fluent" in Thai culture and understand how Thai language and Thai culture are intertwined.
Since the Peace Corps I have worked for the State Department's Office of Language Services as a Foreign Language Officer. I have completed several assignments interpreting for mid- to high- level Thai government officials.
My most recent translation was for the Reuters office in Bangkok.

I received my BA from Wesleyan University (CT), an Ivy-League level institution. I have a Masters Degree in Education.
Feel free to contact me and I look forward to working with you. Sawatdee!
