Translation - English As it is understood by most people who attend to urbanistic studies, the scenario is the creation of one or more hypothetical orders of the different phenomena which invest the city, economy, society and the prefiguration of results and consequences which derive from them. These are hypotheses based on clues and suggestions deduced from careful description of the world we live in.
Indeed, unlike scenario, vision is much more resolute and less hypothetical. Once it carries the most likely hypothesis to the extreme consequences, vision will take its indicative and much more persuasive choice of reality, directing the contemporary reality towards an operative strategy capable of supporting the most posssible hypothesis which is believed to improve collectivity.
Nevertheless, a vision originates from the same assumptions and always from the concrete logic of “what would happen if”, in order to assert that ”it would be most desirable, if this happened…”
Maybe, all this can clarify why our meta-planning research into the city scale have been defined visionary pragmatism exercises.

Bio
I am a professional translator of technical, scientific, literary, legal texts from German/English into Italian. I graduated in 2000 with a Foreign Languages & Literatures (German and English) degree from the Florence University, Italy. During my studies I travelled and worked abroad, most notably in Austria, where I gathered an excellent experience in spoken/written German. In 2000 I started working as a GER/ENG freelance translator. I have recently had an excellent experience by taking part in a German into Italian large translation project alongside a physiology
Professor.
My fields of expertise are: architecture, design, textile industry (knitting machines, spare parts), packing industry (instruction manuals), mechanical engineering (instruction manuals), medicine (physiology), philosophy, religion, fashion (description of textile products), marketing (cars), tourism (hotel, websites), art history (press releases), sport (soccer), enology (wine description).
Multi-year experience, professionalism and a rapid delivery.
On request I can provide an interpreting service (liaison or consecutive) available in Milan or in Florence.
