Bio
To Whom It May Concern

I am a native Swiss (German) who married an American and has lived in the U.S. since 1984.

My educational background is twofold:
a) Masters in Business with special emphasis on
Personnel Managment from the Unviversity
St.Gallen, Switzerland.
b) Masters in French Education from University
of South Florida.

My professional career has been interesting. After seven years in international sales and marketing, including top management positions, I worked in the insurance industry for seven years. The next twelve years I taught German and French in high schools in Florida. I am now the V.P. of Sales and Marketing of our own S-Corporation, selling screening instruments for sleep disorders in children and adolescents (developed by my wife) to school districts in the U.S. as well as to psychiatrists and pediatricians. About six months ago I started my freelance translation business. I always had a love for languages. While in Florida I translated technical pamphlets for a company and once I did some simultaneous translations at the Home Shopping Network for a broadcast that went to a TV channel in Germany. Over the past six months I translated numerous certificates, diplomas and licenses. However, my largest project was the translation from German to English of the new kitchen book 2009 for the high-end German kitchen manufacturer SieMatic. A good reference is available from SieMatic's U.S. CEO.
