Source text - English Но большинство стран мирового сообщества очень хорошо помнят, к чему привел, тот, первый Мюнхенский сговор 1938 года. Его инициаторы, кстати, (совсем как некоторые нынешние политики) заявляли о том, что они обеспечивают своим народам «долгожданный и прочный мир и безопасность в Европе» (Н. Чемберлен). Невольно вспоминаются слова Библии «когда будут говорить: "мир и безопасность", тогда внезапно постигнет их пагуба» (1. Фес. 5, 3). Кстати, нельзя забывать, что все наиболее тесно вовлеченные в процесс урегулирования конфликта государства и территории (Молдова, Приднестровье, Гагаузия, Румыния, Украина и Россия) принадлежат к православной христианской цивилизации. Поэтому, думается, для их руководителей и народов не могут не быть приоритетными другие библейские слова «блаженны миротворцы, ибо они будут наречены сынами Божиими» (Мф. 5, 9). Думается, что в реальной перспективе «независимость» Косово повторит судьбу «независимости» Маньчжоу-го, «Локотской республики» и прочих подобного рода «государств» времен Второй мировой войны…
Translation - Russian However, the majority of the world-community countries very well remember the outcomes that the first Munich arrangement of 1938. Among other things, its initiators, declared (like some of the today politicians) that they would bring their nations the ‘long-awaited and long lasting peace and security in Europe’ (N.Chemberlen). One can draw here a parallel with the statements from the Bible saying, "While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them”. (1. Thessalonians 5, 3). At the same time, one should not forget that all the states and territories that are most closely involved in the conflict settlement process (Moldova, Transdniestria, Gagauzia, Romania, Ukraine and Russia) belong to the orthodox Christian civilization. Therefore, one can say that another statement from the Bible could be of primary importance, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). 5, 9). We think that the real perspective of such an ‘independence’ of Kosovo will be like that of the ‘independence’ of Manchzhou Go, Lokot Republic and other similar types of ‘states’ of the Second World War period…

Behaviorism originated with the work of John B. Watson, an American psychologist. Watson claimed that psychology was not concerned with the mind or with human consciousness. Instead, psychology would be concerned only with behavior. In this way, men could be studied objectively, like rats and apes.
Watson’s work was based on the experiments of Ivan Pavlov, who had studied animals’ responses to conditioning. In Pavlov’s best-known experiment, he rang a bell as he fed some dogs several meals. Each time the dogs heard the bell they knew that a meal was coming, and they would begin to salivate. Pavlov then rang the bell without bringing food, but the dogs still salivated. They had been “conditioned” to salivate at the sound of a bell. Pavlov believed, as Watson was later to emphasize, that humans react to stimuli in the same way.

Started as an interpreter at the Oil Refinery and Glass Factory (Russia). In Moldova, I worked at the Informational Technologies Laboratory under the Ministry of Interior; later started working with different missions from the World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development,UNDP, OSCE, EC, EU, USAID and other international agencies. From 1997 until June 2005 I worked for the Private Farmers Assistance Project (USAID Program). Parallel with my work at the Project I worked as a freelance simultaneous interpreter at different conferences including those held abroad (see my CV).
The Private Farmers Assistance Program was engaged in drafting laws and bylaws, methodology for agriculture restructuring, privatization, investment programs, marketing strudies, surveys, mortgage lending, microfinance, etc. As a translator and simultaneous interpreter I was involved in all these activities.
Besides my translation activities I actively participated in the social activities. I am author of the text book for children written in the form of a fairy tale and published by the Moscow Pedagogical University Publisher. I also organized a series of educational (English language) programs on TV and published a series of stories for children in Chisinau newspaper Chas Pik (which is no longer existent, unfortunately). I am now preparing a text book in a dialog form for adults for a blog that will be based on the formal-grammar approach.
I am also an expert of the Project for National Minority Issues.
