Stromboli
The legend tells that Aeolus, the god of the winds, dwelled in this island. Stromboli is also the name of the volcano that gives to the island its magical atmosphere. The repeated explosions and the flows of lava that sometimes go down along the slopes of the mountain to reach the blue sea give to this place the look of a unique landscape, in which earth, air, water, and fire mix together to create a breath-taking scenario.
